Splendid x Flippy: He Will Be Loved.

Chapter 2

Flippy woke up feeling shitty. His eyes were bloodshot from crying, and he had eyes crusties. He sighed and looked in the mirror. He flinched once he saw his pathetic state. Well, I guess I am pathetic.. He thought, grabbing a rag to clean off his face. He quickly ran to his room to change. Green combat boots, brown skinny jeans, and a green and brown flannel. He swung his backpack over his shoulder and he headed for the door.

Splendid was outside of the school in front of the gate with his friends Handy, Petunia, Cuddles, and Giggles. "Sooo! What're we going to do for the dance?" Giggles asked dreamily.

Splendid shrugged. "I don't know, I'd have to ask Phillip." He replied.

Handy knitted his brows. "Phillip? There's no Phillips in this school." He said.

Splendid rubbed his chin. "Felix?"

"Nope."

"Freddy?"

"Nuh uh."

"Do you mean Flippy?" Petunia asked sweatdropping.

Splendid perked up. "Yeah! Thats it!" He exclaimed.

Handy facepalmed. He had bandages around both of his hands because they had cuts all around them. He was building a stool in woodshop when Lifty and Shifty pushed him, making his hands slip. "Dude, thats such an easy name to remember." He muttered.

"I know right." Flippy said monotone, his face blank and he walked past the small group.

"I think we made him upset." Cuddles said guiltily.

Splendid ignored him and continued to look at the now distant Flippy. BRIING!! "Whelp! Lets go! Bell has spoken!" He proclaimed, running inside the school's building.

Flippy's POV:
Ugh! What a freaking jerk! I mean we have known each other since we were children! He could at least remember MY name!! I ranted in my head. I sighed and closed my locker, placing my forehead against the cold metal. I felt tears sting my eyes. Flipqy was out there somewhere, and I knew he was going to hurt me. I sucked in a shaky breath. Why does my life suck? I wondered.

I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Flippy?" Splendid asked, softly grabbing my shoulder.

I jumped and looked at him, my face had a forced sad smile. "Finally you remember my name.." I said quietly,

Splendid frowned. "I'm sorry I was a jerk. Why are you so upset?" He asked softly. I shivered and backed away. I could- wouldn't get close to someone. Not after what Flipqy did... Splendid's frown deepened and walked closer. "Tell me whats wrong, Flippy." He ordered sternly.

I let out a broken laugh. "You think.. You think you can just order me around?? I think not! Leave. Me. Alone!" I cried, and I bolted away from him, tears threatening to spill.

Splendid'd POV:
Flippy.. What is wrong? I wondered sadly. I sighed and turned on my heel, walking to my first period class.

It was lunchtime and I was sitting with my normal group of friends. Sniffles had brought Nutty with him, which is no surprise. I sighed. He seemed so much happier yesterday.. I thought, meaning Flippy. I heard snickering and whispers and I turned my head to see Flippy walking to the lunchline. People were looking at him and snickering, with evil smirks on their faces. I bit back a growl. What is wrong with people?! He is just getting food!

"Whats wrong with Flippy?" Petunia asked, placing her chin in her hand.

Nutty sighed sadly and flicked a straw wrapper at Sniffles. "His twin brother.. Flipqy... Escaped prison yesterday.." He answered.

My eyes widened. "Prison? For what?" I asked.

"Well, Flipqy was sent to prison after murdering 12 people. Most of them had contact with Flippy. Which is probably why Flippy never wants to get close to anyone. I feel bad for him though.. Flippy was always such a star student until Flipqy started... Going insane,." Nutty explained, with a sad expression. He was friends with Flippy in the earlier years, way back when Flipqy was still sane.

I felt my heart tighten. "How do you know all of this?" I asked quietly.

Nutty looked up and bit his lip. "Because I was there through all that. Flippy was one of my best friends, I moved because Flipqy started terrorizing my family. I just came back this year, thats when I met all of you." He informed with slight happiness.

"Wait. How did we not meet then?" Cuddles asked.

"Oh uhm. I went to a private school near here. Flippy went to this school and I went to Saint Chris." Nutty answered.

We all nodded. I looked back and saw Flippy walk towards an empty table. I don't know why came over me, but I got up and ninja skilled my way to Flippy and pulled him to my table. "Wh-Wha?!" Flippy asked as I ran with him.

We stopped at the table and I moved over and pulled Flippy down. "Hiya Flippy!" I greeted merrily.

His face turned a bright red. "..." He didn't say anything. Nutty looked at me with an amused look. "Hey, Flip. Nice ta see ya!" He greeted, poking Flippy's forehead. Flippy blushed and averted his eyes. "H-Hi...Nutty...Splendid.." He greeted shyly. Goddammit. This guys was too much.

For the rest of that period, we had our lunches and was happy. I didn't know what to expect next. But it was going bad.
