Splendid x Flippy: He Will Be Loved.

Chapter 4

Splendid's POV:
It was then I noticed something. "Flipqy... Who's blood is on your clothes?" I asked, fearing the worst.

Flipqy smirked and pointed up. I looked up and gasped. "FLIPPY!!!!" I cried. Flippy was impaled by the chandelier, luckily not in fatal spots. He was impaled 4 times, twice in the arms, and twice in the legs. He was unconscious. I looked at Flipqy and growled. "Why the hell are you doing this?!" I asked with growing fury.

Flipqy still had that god awful smug smirk on his face. "Heh, I thought it was obvious. Seeing Flippy in pain, brings so much pleasure~" He cackled.

I balled my fists and glanced at Nutty, "911" I had mouthed. Nutty nodded and stealthily got away, just in time too because Flipqy got out of his trance. "Why do you enjoy bringing Flippy so much pain??" I asked, not understanding.

Flipqy hummed and threw his knife at me, which I just barely dodged. "Why? Why you ask? Because its fun~! Seeing all the terrified faces just before I kill them, brings ultimate joy for me!" He answered with a sickening grin.

I grabbed the knife Flipqy had just thrown at me. "So thats it, huh? Wanna duel?" I asked in a low voice I hadn't heard before.

Flipqy grinned at me. "My, my, now you're catching on." He quickly made a run for me, but I dodged it and grabbed his wrist. He swung his body around and used his foot to release his wrist by kicking me. I almost lost my footing, but I regained balance quickly after. "Not bad." He mused, lunging for my chest. In surprise I fell onto my back and he took this chance to try to plunge the knife deep into my chest. I made no haste and I grabbed onto Flipqy's hands, trying to pry the knife away from me. "Its no use~ You'll never leave here alive!" He taunted.

Suddenly images of Flippy's face appeared in my mind. Some were angry, some were sad, and most were happy. I realized then, that Flippy looked happiest at my side. "I don't care if I die, but I do care if Flippy does, NOW GET OFF!!" With newfound strength that I had, I pushed Flipqy off and three him into the wall.

Flipqy stood up and swayed slightly, he had blood oozing from the side of his head. He glared at me. "This... Isnt... Over..." He hissed as he toppled over in defeat.

I smirked at him and then gasped. "Flippy!" I called. I looked around for the light adjusting switch. I ran over to it and lowered the chandelier to the ground, to which I quickly bolted over and cradled Flippy in my arms. "Flippy... Flippy... Flippy..," I murmured over and over again, thanking god that I had gotten him down safely. I quickly took off my jacket and ripped it to shreds, using the fabric as bandages.

A few minutes later the police and ambulance had arrived. They let me ride along with Flippy to the hospital as they cuffed Flipqy and put him in a cop car.

Flippy's POV:
Flippy.... Flippy!! I heard a voice call to me. It sounded like, "Splendid...?" I asked with a choke. I slowly opened my eyes to see a very worried Blue Squirrel. He lunged forward and embraced me in a warm hug. I lightly hugged back because it hurt too much to move. "Where is Flipqy...?" I asked worriedly.

"He's gone. I defeated him." Splendid answered in all seriousness. I nodded and looked at my hands sadly. I guess I'm the only one who had romantic feelings for the other.. He noticed my sudden change in expressions and reached over to hold my hand. "I'm so sorry Flippy.. For how I treated you... For not knowing..." He apologized softly.

I sighed and shook my head. "No I'm sorry.. I shouldn't have let my feelings carry me away.." I whispered, biting my lip to prevent my tears.

I heard Splendid sigh, but I didn't dare look up. I felt him cup my cheek, I looked up and blushed at the sudden closeness. "No need to be sorry.." He whispered and he placed his lips upon mine. My eyes widened and I kissed back shyly.

Splendid placed his hands on my lower back and pulled me to his chest. I placed my hands on his broad shoulders as we kissed. "Mnm.." I moaned breathily. Splendid pulled away with a grin. "Heh. Wh-What was that for?" I asked blushing an ungodly red.

"I thought it was obvious. I love you." Splendid stated bluntly, but he had a smile.

I slapped my hands to my cheeks and I had a stupid grin. "I l-love you too.." I murmured back.

Splendid grinned and leaned forward, kissing me again. I kissed back softly. "Well well." A voice teased.

I snapped my head in the direction the voice had come. "N-Nutty?!" I asked in shock.

Nutty grinned. "I knew it." He smirked and flicked my forehead.

I pouted and swatted his hand away. "Shut up Nutty." I huffed.

Nutty laughed and plopped down beside him. "Alright I'll stop." He groaned.

I smiled and leaned into Splendid's side, Splendid wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer.

I was in the student council room with the others, Splendid, Sniffles, Flaky, Petunia, Handy, and Cuddles. We were planning the spring dance. "What about streamers?!" Petunia asked.

"That sounds fine, as long as they don't take up the budget, then I guess we can fit them in." I said with a smile.

Splendid grinned. "Want them to be green?" He asked teasingly.

I rolled my eyes and playfully shoved him away. "Hardee har har." I mocked. "How about a light green and a baby blue?" I suggested.

I watched as the others thought over them. "Oh yeah! Good idea! We can have a fantasy pond theme!" Giggles suggested giddily.

I smiled. "Thats a good idea."

"I agree!"

"Same."

"Ye."

Splendid's POV:
I stood in front of Flippy's house. I was in a blue button up, and white slacks. My hair was combed so it was tamed. I sucked in a breath and knocked on the door. The door swung open and Flippy stood there with a smile. "Splendid!" He cheered. He hopped out of the doorway and locked it tightly behind him. I blushed, Flippy looked adorable. He had a green paper boy hat on,  a white button up with a dark green vest over it, green and brown plaid shorts that went to his knees, and ankle high dark brown boots. Flippy noticed me staring at him. He blushed and looked at his feet. "Uh.. D-Do I looked b-bad?" He stammered.

I grinned and lightly kissed Flippy on the forehead. "Nope, you look adorable." I whispered teasingly.

Flippy blushed and averted his eyes. "L-Lets go then." He said softly.

I nodded and lightly grabbed Flippy's hand. He smiled and squeezed it gently.

We arrived at the dance. I pulled Flippy into the school building. "Wow. We did a good job." I noted.

"Mhm" Flippy hummed in response. He looked up and smiled happily. "Lets get some food!" He cheered and ran to the food stand.

It had been a few hours, we danced, talked, and are food. As I stared into Flippy's dazzling honey eyes, I knew then, that Flippy will be loved.
