we are not what other people think of us.
we are not notes, likes, or favorites.
we are not compliments or tags.
we are not filters and pixels.
we are what we chose to be.
we are literature, music, and movement.
we are our self worth and empowerment.
we are skin and bones; freckles, scars, and bruises.
we are terribly flawed but beautiful.
we are ever changing but growing.
we are here, not all of us living, but all of us breathing
and that is all we need to live
so be you, and live.
