"One week left for school!" Was the only thing Alexa managed to say. Neither a "good morning" nor a "morning" nor a "good" came out of her mouth.

"And a week left for college" Jade said to Alexa, her voice full of dreadfulness.

"Well look at the bright side." Kate, being the person that she is, will always notice the light in every full situation. And I'm not kidding, she sees the glass half full even when it's completely empty.

"That I'm still stuck in college when you're not even there yet?" And then there's Alexa. The one that will always notice the dark in every light situation. She doesn't even see the glass when it's right in front of her.

"Isn't that good though? You only have 2 years left while Kate and I have a lot of experience to gain." I said, trying to lighten up the mood.

"So back to the topic, I have amazing news to tell you guys." That's Jade. Helpful when needed but never gives a crap.

"Go ahead." Alexa said, her mouth full of Lucky Charms cereal.

I find the fact that Lucky Charms is her favorite cereal very ironic.

"You three know my friend Zoe right?" Jade asked.

"Yeah" Kate and I said in unison.

"More like best friend, but yeah, whatever" Alexa mumbled, but it was loud enough for me to hear even though her mouth is filled with Lucky Charms.

"Well, since school and college is 1 week away, she's inviting us and a couple of her friends to this little gathering party tomorrow noon!" Jade said, well more like shrieked, happily.

"And I heard Joe's gonna be there." Jade elbowed me, a smirk forming on her face.

"Guys! How many times do I have to tell you. I do NOT like Joe!" Emphasizing on the word 'not'.

Jade rolled her eyes, "sure".

"We completely believe you Demi"
Alexa's voice dropping with sarcasm.

"It was a stupid crush in 8th grade! We're in high school now, our last year of school" I said, trying to convince them.

But of course they wouldn't buy it

"4 years and you still have a crush on him?" Kate asked me, at least she didn't tease me.

Or was she?

"No. I don't have a crush on him anymore." I said, in the most serious way I could.

But of course they weren't buying it

"So about this party," Kate started, "what time are we going?"

"Well, the party starts at 1 and if we go at 8 we'll arrive at around," Jade stopped to calculate, "10:15, we can go to WaterWorld first and then check in the hotel."

Kate, Alexa, and I all had confused looks on our faces.

"Why do we have to go THAT early?!"Alexa whined.

"Are we going to stay a night at a hotel?" Kate asked excitedly.

"Isn't the party in London?" I asked, still confused.

"Whoa whoa calm your horses ladies. One by one." Jade finally said. "Alexa, we have to go early to be able to visit WaterWorld. So I advise you to go pack your bag, now. Kate, obviously we're going to stay at a hotel, the drive is 2 hours long, and I'm going to drive, I do deserve a break. And besides, Zoe already reserved 2 rooms for us, So we're going to stay either way."

Kate, practically skipping up the stairs, started singing "I'm staying at a hotel, I'm staying at a hotel, In. Your. Face!" And slam went the door.

Poor door.

"So... "

"Oh yeah, what was your question again? "

"The party isn't in London? " I asked

"Nope, it's in Bath."

"So, we're going to Bath. "

"Yeah"

"We're going to Bath. "

"Yes"

"We're going to Bath!"

"For the millionth time, yes, we're going to Bath!"

And I, practically skipping up the stairs, started singing "I'm going to Bath, I'm going to Bath, In. Your. Face!" And slam went the door.

Poor doors.
