High school.
I, Haley, was finally there. I was waiting to get to that point for quite a while. I thought that everything would change. That I would change, have more friends, less stress, and a better self esteem.
Of course that didn't happen.
The bullying all started back in kindergarten. I was overweight and only had one friend. The bullying continued when I switched schools, to a private school. I guess my parents thought there would be less bullying and a better education. Yeah right! The only thing that was good is that I met my best friend, Megan. To this day we are still best friends. We have stuck together through thick and thin.
Going into high school we both knew that we were going to stick together, but we thought the bullying would stop (or not be as much) and we would make new friends. I bet you know how that turned out... it didn't happen.
There were always people talking about us, just loud enough for us to hear. They would say that we are dumb, useless, and fat.
That first day of highschool was when I realized how difficult the next 4 years of my life were going to be.
