My freshman year. I had dated two guys, been on the golf and softball team. Life was pretty good. Besides all of the rumors.
I thought that I was in the clear. Pass all of my finals and I was summer bound. That wasn't the case... at all. One of the girls on the softball team, she was a year older, was getting bullied pretty bad and she thought that she could drink away her problems. She was hospitalized the week before finals, I wasn't very close with her, but I was crushed... I couldn't focus. Nobody on the team could.
I took my finals and didn't look back. i miss her a ton but there's nothing i could do. from that point on i decided to be very optimistic. From that momernt on I was nicer to everybidy, I always smiled, no matter how much I was hurting.
That summer was boring. I had A TON of summer reading to do, and of course i got preoccupied on the computer and didn't finish it. All i could think about was how quickly sohpomore year was approaching. too quickly!
