I do not own dan and phil

"Come on, dan. Just one last time. Let me have this." The milky, blurred person expressed as they moved up what seemed to be a hill. Why is everything such a blurr? I couldn't seem to make out one line or a single color that wasn't blurred into something else. The sharp edges that used to define the world around me had turned soft and lost its meaning. The voice spoke to me as it kept walking until whatever it was suddenly collapsed. With its fall came dozens of flashing red lights and loud cries that were screaming something my mind wouldn't allow me to hear. What's going on?

"Please...don't leave me." I heard my voice whisper. My mouth didn't form those words, and yet It was me who said it. It was a quiet whisper, but it was the only thing that could be heard amongst my noisy thoughts. I blinked, and suddenly my eyes were met with two blue ones.

"Wake up." He said.

My body flung up from its resting place, and with my heart racing and hair stuck to my forehead, I realized my phone was lit up with a notification.

Phil: Meet me at the hill.

Me: You're crazy it's six in the morning. I'm going back to bed.

Phil: I'll see you in twentyish minutes then :) Be quick or you'll miss it !

What's this man on about? If he's going to be texting me at all hours of the night then I will highly consider blocking him. Nevertheless, I managed to drag my sleep stiffened body out of bed and into my bathroom. As soon as I flicked on the lights my eyes immediately cursed at me, unable to handle such a dramatic change in lighting. I ran a brush through my hair and tried to straighten out the mangled curls that were falling everywhere but where I wanted them too. I hadn't had time to straighten my hair so I took off, leaving the atrocious twists in their place. Whatever it is I'm coming to see better be entertaining as hell.

After climbing up for a good while, I finally reached the top of the hill that I had visited just last night. My eyes scanned around the familiar place until I laid eyes on the annoyingly persistent man who dragged me up here. He was sitting peacefully amongst the grass, staring out into the unknown, his feet dangling over the edge of the large rock he was sitting on. I wonder what a person like him has flying about in his head. He must have such a colorful mind. A mind to vibrant for the dull house he lives in.

"Okay what is it?" I said planting myself next to the dazed boy.
"Oh good you're here. You almost missed it. Now, despite this being a seemingly dull place, it does have it's peaks. Literally. This mountain is the place for all things mystical in this forest, and at precisely seven thirty four, you're going to see the one of most spectacular things your pretty little eyes have ever witnessed. The sunset." Phil beamed as his eyes showed every word's meaning that he spoke. For such a simple thing, he sprouted so much excitement.

"What's so special about a sunrise, if I may ask?" In my heart I knew that the sunrise here was probably absolutely stunning, but I just wanted to hear him describe it to me. I wanted to see his eyes light up with passion for the universe, and his legs shake with the anticipation of me seeing the wondrous things he spoke of.

"God what isn't special about it? You can go all around the world my friend and not see one sunrise like this. I've seen them all during my trips around the globe, and none has ever come close to the one here. Imagine, if you will, a sunrise mixed with all the colors of the rainbow, it's bright colors blinding you with it's beauty. That's what this sunlight is like." His voice began to waver a bit when he glanced at his phone and realized it was almost time. I watched as he stood up and walked to the very edge of the mountain, sit down, and stare into the sky.

What fascinated me about him was his enthusiasm and passion for all things involving the universe and the solar system. It was the way he got all fired up about things. There is nothing more pleasing than to see someone talking about something they love, especially Phil. It's the way his eyes could describe an entire scene of stars and colors if you looked close enough. His hands and legs shook with pure drive and excitement. I loved it.

The sun began to arise from its nightly routine of cold darkness and break through into a new day of promise. Phil was right, It's colors were unlike anything I have seen in my life. The oranges, reds, and pinks of the sky illuminated every inch of our surroundings. I glanced over at Phil to see his eyes reflecting the strong colors of the sun, his gaze making them everything he wanted. His skin was brought to life by the colors that touched him and ignited his soulful fire even more.

"It's stunning isn't it, Dan." He said, glancing at me with his passion lit eyes, killing me inside.

"It is...It really is." I said not shifting my eyes off him, making it appear as if I was directing those words to him...and maybe i was.

He laughed slightly, making me shake from the tips of my toes to the top of my head with an unknown feeling. His smile lit a fire inside me that was greater than all the world's blood sunsets combined. This man was doing things to me that I thought was completely impossible. He had told me that we shined brighter together, but I'm not shining. I'm burning.
