With those words I turned off my phone and got out of my car. I didn't care about the rain and I just went strictly to the totally wet and crying little girl that I just wanted to hug, to let her know that I'll save her.

*Eves POV*

I sat in the hospital hallway after some nurses checked on me.

I didn't moved and my expression was empty. Dry tears were on my cheeks.

There wasn't any reason that we still sat in the hospital but in some way, I couldn't let her go...

Here was the place she took her last breath...

My mother wouldn't come back..

She was gone..

Louis sat next to me and he seemed to think about something. Probably why we were here, why I cried about 'that woman' he still doesn't knew. I haven't talked since he found me.

Louis voice broke the silence of my thoughts.

"Evelyn? I know this isn't the perfect moment for asking you that question but.. who exactly was that women..?"

I knew the question was coming. I couldn't blame him. He couldn't knew who she was but I didn't want to answer, so I stood up, ready to leave this place of sadness.

I strictly went to the exit without any expression. Followed by Louis, I got into the passenger seat of his car and clicked my seatbelt in.

My stomach filled with a confusing feeling and I was kind of afraid. Not a full hour ago, my mother died in a car.

We drove into a myself unknown street and Louis informed me as he could read my mind.

"I'll drive to my place. The lads would just make you more upset with questions and stuff like that. I hope you're okay with that..?"

I nodded and sighed. I've to tell him. Sooner or later I have to and what's wring with that? I can't turn back time and I trust him.

I answered his question he asked me in the hospital and I could see he was confused in first place.

"It was my mom.."

His head turned quick to me and them back to the street. I could see that it was difficult for him to find the right words to tell me but lastly he whispered something, that I expected.

"Evelyn.. I'm sorry."

"It wasn't your fault, Louis. It's alright. Don't worry."

With my words we were silent until we arrived at his flat.

It was beautiful. Fancy but comforting.

He smiled at my excitement.

"You can go upstairs and take a shower. I'll get you some clothes from me. Okay?"

I nodded again and made my way up the stairs to the bathroom, realizing how much I needed a shower.

After I showered and wrapped myself in a towel, Louis came in with a T-shirt and shorts. I smiled thankfully and he leaved the bathroom.

I dried myself and put on Louis clothes. They were way too wide and big for me but they were giving me a warm feeling.

I liked it.

I rubbed my hair with the towel but decided to left it the way it was. Wet and individual strands of hair turning into small curls.

I went down the stairs and saw Louis who laid a rug on his sofa. A few seconds later he spotted me and chuckled a bit.
