Zayn's POV

We all gathered in the common room the next day with the mood extremely happy. Niall was a giggly ball of sunshine while the rest of us were looking at girls instagram pages that went to the all girls school. Niall would make comments about them that made him sound too innocent for any of us to take him seriously.

"What about her? She's pretty." Niall pointed out to some girl that had dark brown hair and really pretty skin that was tan. You could see that she would probably be shy from the way she smiled, but I kind of felt like she would be good for Niall. Even if I have a little crush on him, he deserves to be happy.

"Go for her, Nialler. Her name is Madison. You got dibs on her." Harry told Niall actually sounding like he was trying to give Niall some confidence to do this. If anyone is humble about themselves, it's Niall. But with that, he also had the lowest self-esteem any teenager in this world could have. It's hard to see him like that when I think the world of him, but there's nothing anyone can do to make Niall know he's worth something. Right now with his blue eyes sparkling with a sadness to them, I realized he needed just a little more help to know he could ask this girl to a stupid school dance.

"Niall, we can make her a cute sign or some shit. We'll all be there next to you when you ask her." I told him gently, my heart breaking at the thought of him going to a school dance with someone that's not me. Even if I don't believe I'm gay and I know he's not gay, I think that he needs to get a better social life with girls. Well, just people in general. As much as I love sweet little Niall, I want to see the outgoing boy he is when he's with me come out to play with the rest of the world.

"I don't know her at all. Can we all, like, hang out together with her and some of her friends so I know how mean she'll be to tell me no?" He asked me. I chuckled at him and pat his shoulder. I looked over to Liam to see if he had anything at add to this, considering he's usually good with pep talks, but instead I got a blank stare from the boy before he took the phone out of Louis' hand and begin looking through it. I just turned my attention back to Niall and saw he was nervously playing with his thumbs like he normally does when things get to be too much.

"I'll go ask her to hang out for you. It will be really relaxed and stuff, like we can all go out to eat as a group or just chill at one of our houses to watch movies." I assured him. That seemed to do the trick into relaxing him before he told us all he needed to go get a few books for his second science class, which was advanced physics. We all sat on the couch and watch him leave the common room. When he was out of our sight, Liam reach over and smacked me upside the head.

"What the fuck, mate?" I hissed at him. He stood up, getting his stuff hastily before storming out of the room. I rolled my eyes because there was also something else about Liam that made us different. He was as moody as a pregnant woman. We were very much alike, but he was so damn moody that I could blink and his mood would change. I looked at Harry and Louis for what they thought of that, but we've all been friends for so long that all they did was shrug because this was nothing new.

"He probably likes her. Which is why we're looking at Madison's friends to see she has three other friends that he could choose from. He would like this Sophia girl. For you, maybe Perrie? I'm not sure. Then for us, we're going to find girls at the dance or just grind on each other. It's whatever really." Louis told me, causing Harry to snort and roll his eyes at Louis last statement. We all know they're best mates, but we're all a group of straight guys that can joke around by doing stuff like that for laughs, but it's never real. As for my sexuality, I'm saying I'm straight but I just really like to observe who Niall is.

"So we'll meet up with them at lunch, yeah?" I asked them both. They agreed with me just as the bell rang for our free time to be over. We all got our stuff together and made our ways to our separate classes. Louis was heading to drama while Harry was heading to his music class. I was going to my special math class that's for people that are really stupid and don't do math well at all. It's the lowest math class before going back to secondary school. I was just taking this class so I could graduate.
