Remember a long time ago when I made her middle name Lea? I don't think it fits. So I'm changing it to Sage idk lol but this chapter is kinda boring I'm sorry 😕

Tori's pov

I roll over in my bed and answer my phone that was ringing obnoxiously loud.

"Whoever this is, it better be important." I say. My voice laced with sleep.

"Good morning to you too Tori. I set up an interview for you this morning and yes. It will be over by the time you pick her up from the airport." Jack says into phone.

"Jack? I'm so sorry. I'm not a morning person. Text me the address." I say. He chuckles and hangs up.

I get out of bed and walk to the pile of clothes I have on the floor. Don't have a dresser set up yet and I haven't hung up any clothes yet either. I pick out a casual but nice outfit out. Maroon skinny jeans and a white crop top with a jean jacket. I put on tons of bracelets to cover my white scars and almost healed week old cuts. I put on my shoes and run a comb through my short hair, deciding to leave it naturally wavy. I walk out of the apartment Jade and I picked out on her laptop and walk the streets of New York.

I finally find where my interview is and walk through the doors.

"Victoria?" A lady asks me. I nod. I'm still getting used to people calling me by my full name.

She leads me to a room where they record the talk show. There's a girl sitting in one of the chairs and I sit in one across from her.

"Hello Victoria. I'm Sophia. I will be interviewing you today." She says.

"Hi." I say.

"Here with me I have Victoria! You may know her as the artist that wrote the album Begin again. Her album was just released about a week ago and she already has hundreds of fans." She says. The live audience cheers and I smile.

"Hi." I say smiling.

"So you have your album that just came out. Do you have anything else your working on right now?" She asks

"I have been writing a lot recently this past week. Other than that though I'm just settling into my new apartment." I reply.

"Do you have any plans for a second album any time soon?"

"I hope so."

"So I have a video. It's of you hearing your song on the radio for the first time."

The video pops up on the big screen behind us. How did I not notice that? It starts playing and once it's over she starts talking again.

"Who is Jade?" She asks

"My girlfriend." I reply quietly.

"How long have you been together?" She asks.

"Almost a year." I reply. This is so weird and awkward.

"That's great. So your going to preform a song for us." She says loudly. I laugh as real as possible and stand up.

"Which song?" I ask her.

"Let's have them choose." She points to someone in the crowd and they yell People Like Us.

I walk to the microphone stand the music starts.

I finish the song and Sophia hugs me quickly. Awkward. She pulls back and I walk off the stage thing. I walk out of the building and start the walk back to the apartment.

Walking into the apartment I quickly change and grab some money before I walk out the door. I hail a cab and quickly tell them to go to the airport.
