I opened it expecting Nath. Well, let's just say it wasn't him. It was Chloe.
"Hey, " she greeted. "Love the dress." She made me twirl around so she could see how it looked.
"Nath's gonnna love you in this. Well, actually, Nath loves you in anything." She smiled, but her eyes revelaed something else: hurt.
"What's wrong?" I asked worried. She shook her head slightly.
"Nico and I got into a fight. It's stupid really. It's gonna blow over in like three seconds." her voice wavered.
"You don't sound like you're sure." I told.
"I'm fine. He just starts acting like an air head all of a sudden. It's like he owns me and everything that has to do with me. Like he owns our relationship." Chloe muttered, clearly annoyed. You guys know her pretty well by now that she likes to feel independent. She perched on the couch and began playing with my hair.
"Look, don't worry about me. You go out tonight and enjoy yourself with Nath. You enjoy a relaxation after what happened yesterday." She smiled. "I just came over to see how you are."
"Do you want to have a girls night instead? Nath will understand." I comforted.
"Nah, I'm gonna hang with Jonathan. I think we're gonna see Fast and Furious 6 and laugh at how many times we've been in car chases like those." She grinned and turned to leave. Then she turned again.
"By the way, tell Anton I said hi and don't worry it won;t have to be awkward because I'm over him. It was just a stupid little girl crush. That was a long time ago." Chloe said. She gave a small wave and went outside. She passed by Nath, giving him a quick hug, and then drove away. Nath walked up to me (I was on the doorstep).
"Hey, you ready?" he offered hiis hand like a true gentleman. I nodded.
"Wait let me grab my purse." I dashed inside and snatched the nude colored clutch. It was covered in lace that was tinged red for a pop of color. It went well with my beige dress and red heels.
"So while my car is under repair, I thought I should find a... classier ride." Nath informed and led me to a sparkling white limo. It was beautiful. We climbed in, getting cozy in their plush seats.
"So, what;s your surprise date?" I asked, curious.
"Well, my dear Allison, will you walk the red carpet with me and bee my date for the MTV Music Awards?" Nath asked sweetly (Even though he didn't even have to ask that! Duh."
I was mentally screamin, actually, i think I was actually screamin because Nath was laughing.
"YES!"
