Chapter 5

[[it is currently 2:25 when i started this im so  t i r e d also do you guys like this is in first person point of view for you instead of second? I dunno, I'm just experimenting with points of view. Tell me what you think of it.

YOUR P.O.V- 

I broke my promise. To my dad, that is. About coming back at dinner time. I was as happy as a clam, and I swam around for a few hours. I wanted to swim around with Eri, but I felt guilty about staying out for too long. But I also felt guilty for leaving Eridan, too. He seems so.... alone. It makes me feel upset. I mean, he's basically stranded in the middle of the ocean.... Poor baby.... Wait what. Anyways. My dad was pretty upset when I got home late... Oh well. Cass wasn't here, which was nice. Dad said she was out with her friends. I cheered silently and he sighed. I went up to my room and turned on the radio, and jammed out to (favourite song) when it came on. It was actually really late when I finally went to bed, but even though I got into bed, it didn't mean I feel asleep. My mind kept running back to Eridan. He loved my company. I loved being his company. But living alone in the middle of the ocean must be so... lonely! I sat up in my bed. "He should come over here! And hang out at my home this time!" I smiled. "Perfect" I thought. I fell asleep smiling, dreams me teaching Eridan how to surf running through my head. 

Eridan's P.O.V-
I laid down in my recooperacoon and just stared at the ceiling, thinking about her. Her tail, her hair, her eyes, her smile, her laugh, her voice, her in an entirety played through my head like a movie. I grinned. I wonder if she would be my moirail.... Probably not. I barely even KNOW her. She probably doesn't even know what a moirail is. I'll have to ask her tomorrow if I see her. She seems nice, from what I've see of her. I hope she comes over tomorrow, I really want to ask her. I'm making myself excited, but I should be going to sleep...

Your P.O.V-
I woke up bright and early so I go to see Eridan today. I was gonna teach him to surf whether he liked it or not. I put on a (f/c) bathing suit and slipped out the door quietly, so no one would hear me. Of course I left a note, if I didn't my dad would be really mad at me. I jumped into the water and swam in the direction of his lonely little island. A couple of multicoloured fish swam around me as I sang happily. Thinking of Eridan made me happy. I normally stay away from people, but I really like being around and with him... I don't know.... My train of thought derailed as I walked onto the island and into the large shipwreck. "ERIDAN? ARE YOU HOME?" My voice echoed through the walls. "I'm upstairs!" I heard his voice and walked upstairs, looking around for him. "I'm in my room, (y/n)!" Oh. I walked into his room and smiled at him. "Hiya, Eri!" He gave a shy smiles. "Hey there (y/n)... I have a question for you..." I looked at him and sat in his desk chair. "What's on your mind?" He fidgeted a bit, before shyly telling. "Will you be my moirail...?" I sat there, speechless. "What's a 'moirail'?" I asked, tilting my head to the side a bit. "It's like, a best friend but you trust each other and... stuff." I grinned. "Of course I would!" Eridan looked up. "Really?" I smiled and nodded. "Mhm! You're one of my best friends!" Eridan smiled brightly before hugging me. I hugged him back and grinned.
