TEMPERANCE P.O.V

" They will never find me in here huh Stallion," I ask my horse as I sit on a thing of hay.

" If they do not know you well sweetie, yes this would be the last place they would look," As Stallion layer down on front of me I see my Uncle Rodrick standing at the stable door.

" Your mother told me to fetch you," He said walking towards me.

"So I told her you went to the lake," he continues while sitting besides me and kissing me on the forehead.
I smiled said " Thank you for coming to my birthday celebration,"

" You are my god child so you really didn't give me a choice," I giggled when he made a funny face.

" Now tell me what is this about you being in sociable?" He asked as I looked down at Stallion.

"I have no friends, everyone will know who I am but, everyone will be strangers to me," I said sounding like my sadness was hanging off a cliff and I was in distress.

He leaned in whispered " Adrian is here, as always he is wearing your red and black suit you made him, his hair in a ponytail,"

I made a face said " why the ponytail?"

" You can undo his hair when your dancing with him," he said with a smile.

"Your tricking me by using Adrian, now I'm excited to go dancing with strangers," I say while hitting his arm.

"What? I did not?" He stated offensively while chuckling. Standing he let out a hand " Ready for all those strangers?"

I grabbed his hand stood nodding said " let's get this over with,"

My last thought before leaving the barn was " scared of people, scared of touching others, should I yell or hide it forever?"

While we were walking back to the house I hear " Temperance Amelia Nyt everyone is here and your not ready yet!?".
The front door wide open mother standing there yelling, Uncle Rodrick kissed me on the forehead said " go get ready it is after all your birthday," I smiles ran to mother she grabbed my hand and up the stairs we went.
Stopping in front of my room mother hugged me whispered " I'm sorry dear, I love you," she kissed me on the cheek said " hurry now everyone is almost here," I walked into my room to see Maria my friend and my maid already set for my bath.

After my bath I wrapped myself in a towel.
" Come on milady, sit," Maria said setting my mirror chair. As I sat Maria said " the whole ballroom is crowded with people whom wish to see you," she started to comb my hair I said "is there cake?" We looked at each other giggled.
" Of all the things to worry and ask about cake is the first thing," Maria said as she started to dry my hair I smiled said " your cakes are amazing," she shook her head in disapproval smiles said " thanks you milady happy birthday,"
I went to reply when Mother walked in she looked around said " Maria downstairs please, " Maria curtsied and they both walked to the door mother said "half hour please," I nodded she closed the door behind her and I finished getting dressed.

I stood in front of the mirror smiled thought " I did a wonderful job on my dress,"

There was a knock on my door, I glanced at the door through my mirror to see all the boys walking in. They paused at my door, they all smiled Sebastian said " you look beautiful sweetheart, " I smiled said "just the mask now," I walked to Hades, handed him the mask
" Doesn't do you justice," Hades said, I smiled held my hair up he gently put my mask in, I walked back to the mirror fixed my hair. Tristan came to me said " let your hair down," he took the pins out my hair and as my hair fell to the ground I started to panic.
I hear " Temperance?" after I yell " it's unlady like for a lady to have her hair down," I looked towards the door father walked in, looked around I said " I do not want to go you can not make me," I sat in front of my mirror trying to fix my hair.
" Everyone out now," father said as Sebastian kisses me on the forehead before all the boys walked out, father closed the door came to me made me face him.

Father gave me a warm smile said " I will take care of this?" He knelt down in front of me grabbed a hand full of pins said " now calm down and tell me what's wrong,"

"Why must in do this?" I said looked down, he lifted my chin "Well if you did not want this why not say something," he said putting another pin in my hair.

" I did not want to waste all of mothers work, ever since I can remember she has been talking about this event," I said trying to keep still.

" you could of said something sweetheart, your mother would of understood," he leaned back taking in everything he just did.

"Really?" I gave him a look he chuckled said "maybe not but she would still love you," he placed another pin in my hair said " Alright stand and look, " he stood, I stood turned towards the mirror my hair was in a perfect bun with with a with a red orchid matching my mask.
" it looks beautiful thank you," I said smiling turning towards him giving him a hug.
" Now let's show everyone who my daughter us," he kissed me on the forehead let out a hand, putting my hand in his we walked out my room, headed towards the stair where everything will change.
