Chapter 9-Home again

💋Aria's POV💋
It's been 2 days since I found out the truth and I have to say, I feel pretty guilty
But the good news is Joey and I are both allowed out of hospital today.
Mums coming to pick us both up 11 am. I look at the time and see it's now 10.30, it means I half an hour to get ready. Lauren brought me a bag of clean clothes over last night.
I rush into the toilet and get changed into a long tee with a sweatshirt on top and some sweats. I finish my look with some Nike Air Force, preferably Leo's and  a SnapBack. Today I'm actually happy with the way I look. Being in this hospital made me realise that life's to short to be moping around all the time.
I run back into my hospital room and throw all my other stuff into my bag and keep my phone in my pocket. I take one last look at the hospital room and shut the door behind me. Just as I step into the lift I get a text.

Hey Ari, where are you😁 I'm waiting in the canteen
Get your fat butt down here😉

Just in lift😀 coming down now.
Who you calling fat butt, you doofus😋
Yep that's right, I'm sassy 😽

I step out of the lift and head towards the canteen, it's full of people. I look everywhere for Joey but can't find him. 
"Boo" someone shouts in my ear.
I turn round and find Joey standing there with a jar of Nutella in his hand. Boys and Nutella, but who am I to judge, I'm just as bad but it must run in the family.
"Joeeyyy" I shout earning a few dirty looks from people
"Arriiii" he shouts mocking me.
"I love you, you know that right❤️"  I whisper into his ear
"I love you too Aria, your our cousin but to me your my little sister 😘" he whispers back

Suddenly I hear my mum shout. I see her coming over waving her hands in the air like a crazy person.
"Way to ruin a moment, mum" I mutter under my breath, whilst Joey starts laughing.
"Ari, Joey over here" she shouts .Me and Joey Stare at the floor ,Blushing.
Once our cheeks had returned to their normal colour we walked over to my mum.
"Hiya sweeties" she said
"Alright mum" I reply
"Sup Auntie Em" Joey says
"Right , have you got everything?" She asks
"Yep, I think so," I say
Mum exits the canteen and gets into the lift, me and Joey at her heel.
"Underground Carpark" the lady says
The doors open and me and Joey step out and follow mum to the car.
I Sit in the back next to Joey and rest my head in Joeys shoulder.
I close my eyes and within a few minutes, I'm in a deep sleep💭
