*ONE WEEK LATER*

LISA'S POV

Its official. I haven't seen Luke in a week. Good. Also, I got a new job. I work at Bath & Body Works now. I only stock shelves and help people find what they're looking for, but it still pays well.

I turned around as someone tapped me on my shoulder.

"Hi. Can I help you?" I asked politely, painting a smile on my face.

"Yes. Can you help me find the body wash please?" A middle-aged lady asked.

"Of course. Right this way." I said and started leading her down the aisles.

"There you go ma'am." I smiled again.

"Thank you." She said and gave me a 20 pound note.

"Oh no, I'm not a waitress, Miss. You don't have to tip me." I said, secretly hoping she'd argue back and let me take it. Shh.

"Keep it. You deserve it." She smiled and practically shoved the money into my hand.

Yay me.

"Thank you." I said politely and walked away.
I began to stock shelves again, when I heard a familiar Irish voice.

"There she is. Told you I'd find her." He said.

I quickly turned my head, put my head down with a hand on the side of my face, and walked into a different aisle. I uncovered my face and gave a sigh of relief when I didn't see anyone in front of me.

"Boo." A raspy voice said in my ear.

I jumped a bit and turned around to see Liam standing in front of me.

"What are you doing here?" I whisper/shouted.

"No need to whisper, love. We all know you're here." He smirked.

And just when I was hoping it was only him and Michael. Silly me, silly me.

"You didn't answer my question." I said in a normal voice now.

Then I felt strong arms snake around my waist from behind, which also made me jump.

"Surprise." A deep, husky voice said in my ear.

Fuck. I'm surrounded. Just when I thought that, everybody came into the aisle we were in.

"Why have you been avoiding me?" Luke asked, still talking in my ear, but now he was rocking us side to side.
"Pfff. Whaaaaat? I haven't been avoiding you. I've just been really busy." I think I lied pretty well.

"Liar."

Well shit.

"Seriously. Why have you been avoiding me? You said we'd talk some time." He brought up.

"Yeah, I said some time. Which could mean months." I pointed out.

"C'mon. You know you can't resist me. I'm always on your mind. And I know this because you're the one who told me that you have sexual fantasies about me." He said and licked my earlobe ever so slightly.

As much as I hate to admit it, Luke really knows how to turn people on.

"You want my dick, remember?"

Told you he'd never let me live it down.

"I did. But now, I don't." I lied. Then I remembered the money that the lady gave me. "How much should I pay you to stay away from me?"

"Nothing. You're priceless."

Ha, good one.
"No. I'm serious." I said and unwrapped his arms from around me. I turned to face him. "My life was perfect before you came in. Now I want you to leave." I said, putting on a serious facial expression.

His face dropped. He looked hurt. And now I feel bad.

"Damn." Jake butted in.

And now I feel worse.

"I mean, look. I didn't mean for it to come out so rude, but I honestly think its best if we stay away from each other. And I mean it. No more looking for me. You can fuck all the girls you want, like you do anyway, but leave me out of it. I've had more drama with you in the past month than I did in my last year of high school." I explained, trying to put it in the nicest way possible.

"But...I don't want to." He almost sounded like a little kid when his mom tells him to clean his room or something.

The whole gang gasped. Ok is it really this rare for Luke to stick this long with a girl? Honestly.

"Um. I'm not one to butt into relationships, but I think you should give Luke another chance. He honestly hasn't been this serious about a girl. Ever." Briitney said.

Well, that's the answer to that question.

"Never?" I asked.
"Never." She answered.

"Never ever?"

"Never ever."

"Never ever, never ever, never ever?"

"Never ever, never ever, never ever, ever, ever, ever."

"Never ever, never never, ever never for never ever?"

She sighed.

"Never ever, ever, ever, never ever, ever, never ever."

"Never ever, ever ever never, ever, never, never never, ever never, never ever ever, ever, never, never ever?"

"Never ever, ever ever ever ever, never ever never never, ever, ever never, never ever, ever, ever, ever, never ever, never, never, never, never ever ever never, never ever never."

"Nev--"

"SHUT UP!!!!" Calum shouted.

We all jumped at the sudden outburst. Geez.
"Excuse me." I heard a girl's voice behind me and then someone tapped on my shoulder.

I turned around and there was a red-head girl, who looked like she was in her thirties or something. She wasn't dressed like a slut, but she gave me the slutty vibe.

"Hi. How may I help you?" I asked politely.

"Well I was gonna ask what your specials were, but I think I'm already looking at it." She said and winked at Luke.

Somehow, I got jealous. Don't know why, but I did. Plus, doesn't that pick-up line only work in restaurants?

"He's taken." I said.

That caused everybody to look at me, including that red-head. Even I wished I could look at me right now.

"Really? Where's his girlfriend? I don't see her." She asked, smirking at Luke.

"Look on the side of him and maybe you will."

She looked at me.

"Well I don't see much." She said, taking a step closer to me.

"Jealousy is clearly your best friend." I glared at her.
She scoffed.

"Jealous of what? Your ridiculously bright red hair? Or the fact that I can handle a man like that and you can't?" She said, obviously referring to Luke.

"Actually, the fact that you're fake and I'm not. And the fact that I can do this and you can't." Right when I ended that sentence, I pulled Luke down to me and gave him a long, passionate kiss. He didn't seem to mind either. Instead, he wrapped his arms around my waist and deepened the kiss. I pulled away before things got too heated. "Jealous now?" I smirked at her.

She just rolled her eyes and walked away, but not before leaving a wink towards Luke. Luke turned back to me and pulled me closer to him. He leaned our foreheads against each other.

"Does this mean you'll give me another chance?" He asked, his eyes full of hope.

I thought about it for a minute and smiled.

"Yeah." I leaned in and kissed him again.
