Chatmates

Chapter 1

"Phew... At last!" Yuuichirou sighs after a long day from school. He threw his bag on the floor and layed flat on his bed. He sniffs the very familiar aroma of his sheets and slowly closed his eyes.

*beep beep*

The young teen groaned, forcing himself up to get his phone from his bag. He reaches out and finally got his phone. 'Oh.. A notification. Very nice.' He mumbles as he swipes the screen of his phone to unlock it.

On the screen, the app popped up, leading him to the notification panel. 'Oh it's about the group chat...'

Yes. Yuuichirou is very active when it comes to  communicating over the internet. He has friends on the internet. Of course he also has friends in real life. Like Shinoa who enjoys teasing him. Mitsuba, the one who always scolds him. Yoichii, a very caring friend. And there's Kimizuki, the one he hates the most and doesn't even know if he should consider him as one of his friends or not.

Anyway, Yuuichirou opens the group chat, and the messages came flashing on the screen. After scanning the messages he missed, the teen starts typing his replies.

'Hey! Did I miss anything?' He sends the message.

After a minute or so, one of the members of the group chat, -BlondVamp-, replies. 'Haha don't worry |Yuchiro|, you didn't miss anything. It was the same as usual.'

Yep. His username is |Yuchiro|, he obviously based it on his name.

He's been friends with -BlondVamp- for more than a month now. The user is always active and Yuu talks to him frequently since the two of them gets left everytime by the other members. The guy is nice and fun to talk with. And apparently, they both have the same age. They share stories, rants and whatever topics they may think of. Because of this guy, Yuu sleeps past midnight. He's used to it so it doesn't bother him. The same goes with -BlondVamp-.

'Ha. I shouldn't have asked.' Sent.

'Tired as usual? How was school?'

'Yep. Well, school's still the same. Nothing eventful happened. But guess what'

'What?'

'We were given more projects by our professor. More stress! Yay.'

'Sarcastic as always. Haha you can do it. You need some help?'

Yuu stares at the screen, his lips forming a smile. This is what the guy does for him. Whenever Yuu feels down, he's there for him. His lips will automatically curve upwards.

'Thanks for the offer, but no. I'll call you if things get hectic.'

'But it always does'

A groan. 'I know it always end up being a mess but I swear I can do it this time.'

'Alrighty then. I'll cheer for you, |Yuchiro|'

Did his heart freaking skip a beat?

Before he could even send a reply, one of the members sent a message to the group chat. Looks like someone's here.

~FabTrash~: Yoooo~ looks like you two are busy~ Am I ruining the moment?

|Yuchiro|:Nope.

Actually he did.

-BlondVamp-: Yes.

Oh! That's right. -BlondVamp- doesn't like ~FabTrash~. He always rants about him to Yuu.

~FabTrash~: hnnn? Haha don't worry, Mik-- Oooppsss xD i mean -BlondVamp-. I won't be long. It's my break time, and I thought of visiting the GC :3

-BlondVamp-: urrrghh

Yuu thinks it's cute when -BlondVamp- changes from a kind and caring person into someone who is more bluff.

|Yuchiro|: Calm down -BlondVamp-

He then notices the name ~FabTrash~ was about to use. He asks about it.

|Yuchiro|: who is Mik?

-BlondVamp-: Oh nothing~ Remember, we can't give out names here. May it be our real names or other's. And apparently, someone here can't keep his mouth shut.

~FabTrash~: was it me? :0

-BlondVamp-: I dunno. I think it was me, idiot.

Yuu can't help but chuckle.

Hmmm... maybe he'll send a private message to -BlondVamp- like he always do. They'll continue their conversation there, without any interruptions of the other members.
