Its the summer. Both me and my best friend ,Brianna, graduated high school. We are waving bye to all of our friends that we will probably never see again. We hopped into Brianna's car and started to head home. She turned up the radio and a very catchy song came on.
We were both humming to the beat of the song.
They started singing:
Oh i just wanna take you anywhere that you like,
We can go out any day and any night
"Bri this song is so good." I said
"I know they sound good." she said
We got to her house and went up to her room.
I got on her computer to look for a job this summer.
I saw one that definitely caught my eye. I clicked on the link.
"Bri come here look." I said pointing to the computer screen.
"Whats is it?" she asked as she jumped on the bed,
"I think we found out jobs for the summer." I said
"Well read it out loud." she said
"Ok it says 'Do you need a job? Do you want to travel? Well this is the perfect job for you. Just click the link below and sign up'" I said
"Click it" she said
I clicked the link. There was a sign up sheet.
Both of us filled it out and at the bottom it said something.
"bri look." I said
"What is it?" she asked
"It says that only two can win." I said
"We have a chance." she said
"We have to tell our parents." I said as i got off the bed.
"Oh my god." bri said
"What?" I asked
"Its taking place in New York!" he shouted.
"Are you serious?" I asked
"Completely." she said "We finally get to go there."
"I know." I said "Now we have to win."
"I know." she said
"When does the competition start?" I asked
"Next week." she said
"Im so excited." I said
"We have to practice on our picture faces." she said as she picked up my camera and started taking random pictures.
"bri what are you doing?" I asked laughing.
"Taking pictures of you." she said
I rolled my eyes and went downstairs to look for food from his fridge.
She followed behind me and said "Wanna go out to lunch?"
"Yeah let me get my bag "I said as I left the kitchen
"hurry up. I'm hungry." She shouted
"I'm coming." I said "Lets go."
We pulled up to McDonlads. We went through the drive through and got our food head back to her house.
Her mom got back from working we said hi to her and Bri went to get her laptop.
"Hey mom." Bri said "Sabrina found us job."
"Really where?" she asked
"Well its not really a job but its a modeling competition." I said
"A what?" her mom said "Where is it taking place?"
"New York." Bri said
"What did your parents say Sabrina?" she asked
"I just found it this afternoon." I said "I'm going to ask them when I get home."
"Its fine with me as long as its ok with your parents." her mom said
Both me and Bri jumped up from excitement.
"Thank you! Thank you!" bri said hugging her mom.
"Yeah yeah y'all better win is all i got to say." she said
"Go and ask your parents." Bri said
"Ok" I said "I'll call you when I find out."
"Bye love ya!" she said hugging me "Good luck."
"Thanks." I said as i started walking. My house is around the corner.
I got up to my house in 5 minutes. I walked in and went to my parents room. I see my mom and dad laying down.
"I have some thing to tell you." I said
