Mommy took me to the park today. It has been a long time since we went. As soon as we got there, I ran to the swings. I sat down, facing the trees, and waited for mommy to come push me.

As I swung, I stared out at the trees.

"You could run away," Bobby had said in my head. When I was confused, he explained. "You could run away so that you wouldn't have to go to school. You wouldn't have to take the pills. We could be friends forever, without anyone separating us."

I had thought about what he said for the few hours that we were at the park. A couple of times I almost did it. Then, I would think of my family.

And then, I remembered that my birthday was soon. I always got cool things. I loved the music at parties. I always got a great cake from Uncle Tim.

I I run away, I would have to do it after my birthday.

I hope that I get something musical for my birthday. I love music, it calms me down.

Bobby was sad that I decided to stay, but I told him that I wouldn't take the medicine and that I'll somehow get out of school. He promised to help me.

Together, we would help me live a good life.
