I don't know why I said the kiss meant nothing because it's 4:30 in the morning, I haven't gotten any sleep, and the kiss is all I've though about since we got back to the apartment. The kiss meant everything. Biting my cheek, I climb out of bed and leave the bedroom, walking down the hall way and to Carson's bedroom, knocking on the door.

He opens it tiredly but not sleepily, and with no hesitation, I stand on my too toes and press my lips against his for the second time tonight, and I felt all the same fire I did in high school. He pulls away and looks at me, confusion written all over his face. "Why are you doing this to me?" He breathes out.

"I still love you. I never stopped. The kiss earlier made me realize that." He raises an eyebrow at me. "I love you, Carson.  Nothing will ever change that.  I'm sorry it took me so long to figure that out."

He's silent for a minute and it feels like I'm going to throw up, but then a small smile appears on his face. "God, I missed you." He whispers pulling me closer to him, and I breath in the familiar vanilla scent that feels like him.

We stay like that for who knows how long and then we hear a clapping from behind us. I laugh, turning around and seeing Calum with a huge smile on his face. "Only took you six years to come to your senses, Dani." He laughs.

I roll my eyes, leaning my head against carson's chest. "We have about six years of catching up to do, Cal, so if you don't mind," Carson sighs, running his hands up and down my arms.

"Will there be screaming?" Calum asks.

I chuckle and blush. "If I give her my best work, definitely." I can basically hear the smirk growing on his face.

Calum sighs. "I'll be at Taylor's." He tells us, walking out of the apartment, but before he leaves he turns back to us. "Welcome back, Dani. We missed you." He smiles.

Before I can say anything, Carson pulls me into his room and closes the door behind us. "Are you sure I have you again? Because if I do, I'm never letting go."

I hum and wrap my arms around his neck. "I've spent the last six years away from you. I don't intend on being apart from you again. If you'll have me, I'm all yours."

He grins. "I'll have you alright." He whispers in my ear, his breath sending chills down my spine.

"You are the biggest tease." I groan, pushing him into the bed and climbing on top of him.

He laughs, pulling me down to his face. "I love you, Dani." He whispers above my lips.

I sigh happily, closing my eyes. "And I love you."
