This year was a big one. Where do I begin.....? Well, my friend,Amy, joined the car pool and "Annapolis Gang" as we were shipping of to Washington. This Oireachtas wasn't a very exciting one for me because it is close to my hometown. This Oireachtas was important too because I had to be a role model for the younger dancers dancing their first Oireachtas. This one was also the year I met Georgia, who you will hear about later in the book. Her dad was in the military and she was from New Zealand, temporarily living in Virginia. We got second in our eight but St. Patrick's Day didn't bring me.much luck. :-( . I kept going though, right?
