Chapter 2

Author: hey here's my second chapter hope you like.

Wiping the sweat off my forehead I look out the window it's morning. No I don't sleep during the day like you would assume. I pick my phone up "shit" realizing today is my friends birthday. His name is Louis he's tall handsome beautiful blue and longish light brown hair. I rush to get ready and grab my keys as I run out the door. I'm driving to his house to pick him my phone go's off its a text. I pick it up its from Louis.

Louis: where are you did you forget what today is.

Me: no I promise I'm on my way to pick you up.

Louis: you better be.

I make it to his house I get out of my car running up to the door it comes flying open and before I know it I'm on my back. For a weak guy he sure can take you down. "Louis pls get off" I say "no where's my birthday kiss" he starts hugging my neck "ok". I give him a peck on the cheek he smiles and gets up and helps me up. "So what do you have planned for my birthday today." "Lets see dinner, shopping then a movie does that sound ok?" He nods " ok let me get my keys I'll be out in a minute." He comes running out like something is chasing him and gets in the car. He watches me drive I know he wants to ask me something.

"What?" He looks at me confused " you know what I mean ask me." He looks at me and sighs " do you still work at night" my hands tighten on the steering wheel y...yes I do. I work at night but not doing what he thinks. I'm killing vampires I've been hunting them since I turned punishing them for they have made me into. The elders are on my side as long as I only kill the one who hunt innocent people. And tonight they have two vampires helping me from time to time I do need a little help and I mean a little. "TJ" Louis yells my name "what?" I reply " I was asking you where we are gonna go shopping but you zoned out." "Sorry I was thinking about work." I had to leave town for a couple days this vampire has been under the radar but he slipped up so we have to get him before he gets away. "Well it's my birthday so don't think about work. "Ok Louis today is your big day."

Louis comes out of the dressing room pants that hug his legs and a striped shirt. He always looked good in anything he wore. "So how do I look" he says as he spins around I can't help but love him that's why he could never know what I do they could use him against me. "Beautiful as always Lou" watching as he starts to blush. He runs back in the dressing room and comes out with a pile of clothes looking at me. I Sigh "ok you can have all of them only cause its your birthday." He smiles and runs to the register.

"So how long are you gonna be gone." Louis ask me. " a couple days but I promise I'll text you the moment I'm back in town." I reply we pull up to his house he hugs me and gives me a peck on the cheek and gets out of the car.I watch him to make sure he gets in the house ok. I drive off thinking about what I have to do my bags are ready I just have to wait for the help to pick me up. It's half past nine they'll be here any minute.

"You know that I can hear you right." "Damn not fair" I hear a voice from behind me. "So where is Liam at your not my usual help." Finally the voice has a face " he couldn't come tonight but my name is zayn and Niall should be here by now." Something falls in the living room " that must be him." To give you a idea of what they look like Niall was about the same height as me with hair that was dyed blonde as you can see his roots with blue eyes. Zayn taller tan skin dark brown hair and light brown eyes.

"So where are we going?" I ask "well it's in California I forget the name of the town." Niall says "ok let's go" I say "were two hours away." Zayn tells me I look outside bright signs and lights every were in holly wood. I've been there a couple times but only for business. "What is the targets name?" Niall looks at me confused "why do you care what his name is its not like he's going to live any longer." "His name is Ryan" zayn says my eyes widen it can't be him I killed him four years ago.
