"Tae, it's time to go to school," my mom yells. I run through the front door, grab my backpack and say bye to my mom. I run a few yards then look at the creek I was next to seconds before. It takes a while for me to move on. That has always been a special place to me - ever since my dad passed away. It's been a long 2 years for me and my mom. She seems so lonely. I finally move on.
I hear the school bus honk in the distance. Just another day at school. I get on the bus and sit in a window seat - alone - again. The bus stops and everybody gets out but me. I take a deep breath and step out as well - slowly. On the bright side I have a new class today...yep, nothing helps. By the time lunch is about over I force myself to eat. I'm over being anorexic but my body won't let me eat. I eat an apple anyways and call it a good sized lunch. Then I remember: my new class.
