The Immortals: Sidetracked

Author Note (and Trigger Warning Information)

Hello, Sam here! 

This story is actually supposed to be broken into two or three parts/novels (due to the large projected word count). For convenience sake, however, I'm going to keep it all in one Wattpad story under the title The Immortals: Sidetracked.

I recently revamped the story's plot (AGAIN), but I now have a draft of book one nearly completed. It looks like it's going to have about 30 chapters (with an approx. 60,000 wordcount). Once I have that finished and have it proofread, I'll start uploading chapters.

Once I start uploaded ST chapters, I'll get to work on rewriting the rest (still not sure exactly how much there will be chapter/wordcount wise). I have a lot of old source material (80k from 2015, several random mid-plot chapters and a lot of handwritten junk from 2010-2011), but it all has to be patch-worked together and completely rewritten due to major plot changes made in book one and differences in the characterization between the newer and older material.

Sooooo... bear with me while I work on this. :')

Mature Content / Trigger Warning Information

(beware of slight spoilers)

I mentioned this in the story description, but there will be some mature content in this story, slowly beginning around Chapter 19/20. As far as mature content and possible trigger warnings go, this story will (at one point or another) contain:

Adult language (honestly not that much), violence, blood (sometimes quite a lot), injury, NON-SEXUAL abuse (both physical & emotional), stalking, knives, guns, hospital visits, and a few near-death-experiences. 

While there are one (or, arguably, two) characters who have suicidal thoughts/ideation at a few different points throughout the story (not the narrator, mind you), there will NOT be any suicide, described self-harm, or the romanticizing of such things on my part, as the author. There will also NOT be any sexual abuse, sexual content, extreme gore (besides allofthisblood), or anything of that sort in this story. 

I've read tons of young adult novels that were aimed at a younger target audience with far worse content than anything I'm expecting to write for this story, but just keep these things in mind!
