Chloe pov
"J troupe! Huddle up!" Garret calls. He's the new assistant choreographer. He helps Miss Gina around the studio and choreographs for the bigger kids. All of J troupe get into a big circle. "So, Miss Gina and I noticed that you guys have never done duets without our help. You guys have to choreograph your own duets okay?"
There is a chorus of okays.
"Any questions?" He asks. I put my hand up. "Yeah Chloe?"
"Will you pick out the partners? Or will we?" I ask, hoping for the second option. Doing a duet with Riley would be awesome. She is my best friend after all.
"Good question. Me and Miss Gina have already selected the partners." He smiles. Me and most of J troupe groan. "Chloe, you're with Daniel. Giselle with Tiffany. Eldon with Emily. Beth with Charlie. Sara with Sami. And James with Riley."
"And to make it more challenging, you guys will dance to a mystery song we pick out. And will choreograph to no music." He adds.

It's almost like fate wants us to be together. And I'm loving it. I laugh to myself as I strut over to Riley.
"Wanna start now?" I ask.
"Sure." She sighs. "Music room?"
"Yeah, nobody will be there." I shrug. We both walk over to the music room. She stands on the center of the floor.
"Okay, so I was thinking we start off with pirouet-" She starts, but I cut her off.
"Nah. You know I'm brutal at ballet. You could pirouette and I could do this." I suggest, showing her a trick I've recently learned to land.
"Yeah, okay. So we start at opposite corners, I pirouette and you flip in, then how about some hip hop?" She says and I nod. "Lets try it out."
We do the routine and I think it looks really good. We decided on core hip hop with a bit of contemporary and jazz. So far its looking awesome...

"So like what's your Favorite movie? Maybe we could see it together?" Eldon asks me out for the 100th time.
"Eldon. For the hundredth time. No!" I say. "Now, let's just start with the choreo. We are going to snap our fingers to the front. Follow my lead."
I show him and he follows along.
"How about I throw in a flip here?" He asks.
"No. We're going to pirouette from there, our routine is contemporary, Eldon. Not hip hop." I say in a duh tone.
"Oh, right. Sorry." He says quickly.
"Whatever," I sigh. "Lets just go from the top. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 and 8. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8. That was good."
So far the duet is going terrible. Eldon is a really good dancer, but I always find him gawking. This is horrible...

"I think we should do a ballet duet." I say, hoping Chloe will agree.
"Yeah. I love ballet." She agrees. I've always really liked Chloe, shes so pretty and perfect. Wait what? You're just here to dance, Daniel. "Okay, so I'll do a jump and then turn once and land in first position."
(A/N idk anything about ballet so, I'm sorry if this doesnt make sense :')
"Yeah that looks really cool." I smile. She blushes.
This is going perfect so far. I couldn't have picked a better partner. I'm on cloud 9. This couldn't be better...
A/N I know, I know. This one was short and it sucked. More of a filler than a chapter. I'm reallyyyy really sorry guys. I'll try to update soon. But I'm more focused on my other book.. anyways, what do you this is going to happen next??
