The first month flew by, and it was already nearing Halloween. There was going to be a big party in the 8th years common room. Everybody was preparing their costumes already. I didn't really want to go, but since every 8th year was doing it, I didn't really have a choice.

There were not that many 8th year students, as not everyone returned. In Ravenclaw, only Anthony Goldstein, Michael Corner and Padma Patil returned. In Hufflepuff, Hannah Abbot and Ernie McMillan. And finally Slytherin, with Draco Malfoy, Pansy Parkinson and Blaise Zabini. Which means there are sixteen 8th year students.

I was really surprised. Malfoy hadn't even bullied us once since we arrived at Hogwarts. In fact, he was really quiet and non-malfoyish, if you know what I mean. But then again, maybe it was because he was ashamed to be an ex-death eater and the fact that his father was sentenced for life in Azkaban.

Anyway, now it was quiet the other way around. Ron kept teasing Malfoy, throwing insults at him and shoving him into the walls, despite me trying to stop him. 'It's time we got our revenge' he said to me.

I felt bad for my former nemesis. Without him, I probably would have been dead. And, I also started getting rather strong feelings for him ever since 6th year, even though I tried to ignore them. I knew I was gay for a long time, but only accepted my sexuality after the war. I tried to date Ginny to make me turn straight, but it obviously didn't work. I didn't come out to anyone yet, having only accepted myself a few months ago.

I hoped that my feelings for the Slytherin Prince would fade away soon. 'Accept it, Harry. He will never love you. Get over him and find yourself a nice, caring man who doesn't hate you'

HALLOWEEN

I entered the Great Hall for breakfast. Hagrid's pumpkins were gigantic as always. It was truly beautiful.

After I ate my breakfast, I followed Ron and Hermione to transfiguration. We had double class with the Slytherins.

"Okay, class. Today, you are going to have to transform a frog into its baby form. I'm gonna show you in a second how to do it, but first, I have to warn you to absolutely not hit any students. Be very careful. We don't know what's going to happen if the spell is used on humans. Now, let's begin."

She showed us how to do it and then partnered us up. Me and Neville were together, and Malfoy and a very unhappy Ron were on the table next to us. Neville was first to try. Nothing happened. It was my turn to try now.

And it was then that The Accident happened.

I'm sorry that it took so long to update! It's my last year at school and I have a lot of work to do, plus since English isn't my first language it takes quiet a long time to write. Again I'm sorry if there are grammar/spelling mistakes. I hope I'll be able to write/update soon. :)
