"American Airlines flight T119 descend to 15 000 feet and reduce to Super sonic speeds" air traffic control says
"Roger air traffic control, descending to 15 000 feet and reducing to super sonic speeds" the captain of FireFlash flight T119 says
"Hold in the FireFlash holding pattern above Brisbane City Airspace" air traffic control states
"Holding in FireFlash designated holding pattern" the captain says and the plane flies into the holding pattern
"American Airlines T119 switch to frequency 1 - 8.9 - 2 for transfer to Brisbane approach" the controller says
"Roger air traffic control switching to 1 - 8.9 - 2" the captain says and FireFlash begins it's approach to the City

EMERGENCY! EMERGENCY! ENGINE FAILURE, SUPER SONIC SHUTTING DOWN
"God damn it!" The captain says
"We're going down" the copilot says
"Mayday! Mayday! Mayday! This is American Airlines Flight T119 anyone please respond!" The captain says over the radio
"It's no use, the radios went down with the engines" the copilot says
"The emergency beacon" the captain says
"It's worth a shot" the copilot says and presses a red button labelled 'iR'

Tracy Island, South Pacific...
(Scott's POV)
"Activating Tracy Island Radio Transceiver Tower" I say pulling a blue lever on the control panel of command and control
TRACY ISLAND LONG RANGE TRANSCEIVER NOW ACTIVATED, LINKING TO THUNDERBIRD 5 SYSTEMS
The computer says and not before long we get a ping back from Thunderbird 5
"John, you want to activate the communications relay?" I ask
"Sure" he says walking over to the control panel opposite me
"Alan, Gordon, reactivate all launch bays" I say
"On it" they say in unison and head to opposite ends of the elevators to the hangers enabling two computer keypads
"This needs to be simultaneous" I say and the others all nod " 3... 2... 1... Activate" I say
INTERNATIONAL RESCUE FULLY OPERATIONAL. INCOMING DISTRESS CALL
"John" I say
"I'm on it" he says pressing a red button " this is International Rescue state your emergency" he says over the comms

(John's POV)
"This is International Rescue state your emergency" I say over the comms to the source of the distress call
"International Rescue? Thank god" I get back
"State your current situation" I say
"This is the captain of American Airlines T119 to Brisbane International from New York City, our engines have blown out and we're on a collision course for the city" the captain says
"State number of souls on board" I say
"1500" the captain says
"Don't worry we're on our way" I say
"Thank you" the captain says and the line cuts off
"Brains?" I ask
"Flight T119 is a FireFlash airliner, one o...of t...the older m...models " Brains says
"Older models?" I question
"These v...versions had at...atomic power cells fitted into each engine" Brains says
"Then we need to dump the plane where no one can get hurt" I say
"May I suggest the Arctic Cycle" Brains says
"That's perfect, we'll need Thunderbird 1, 2 and 3 for this" I say and we move towards the elevators and the doors open as we move near them
"Thunderbirds Are Go!" I say and we press the red button to close the lifts
Soon after entering the hangers we move towards our own vehicles and launching to the rescue
Dad might have driven us into shutting down International Rescue with that stunt all those months ago but if It weren't for that then we wouldn't have discovered what family means... Being by each other, whether it be saving the lives of others or spending time with your brothers, family always comes first

And that's how life has turned out, it's good again and as I look out the front of Thunderbird 3 I know that what ever comes in my way, my brothers Gordon, Scott, John and Virgil will always be there...
I'm still mad at dad but I know just to live life without worries and that includes the situation with dad, one day I'll tell you how this rescue went maybe it'll be next time
