The Creature

Chapter 2!

"Ok"we said as we slowly and carefully walked in. It was as quiet as a mouse.All of a sudden we heard another thud.                                     We quickly hid in the closest place in there,a closet.Then all we heard was a door handle shaking quickly. jay put his hand on the closet door,and felt it lightly moving.He backed up and felt clothing.Then we counted to three "1...2...3 GO we both opens the door an ran in separate directions.I went up stairs,jay went straight ahead.I found another closet and hid in it.Then the handle jiggled again like it did down stairs.I started to back up against the wall when I felt a cold breeze on my neck.Then I felt a soft hand on my shoulder.And screamed"ahhhhhhhh".
Then I quickly opened the closet door and ran down the stairs as I ran out side       

"where's jay"marquis asked
"we... ran... in... different...directions"I said as I was panting."So let's go find him" marquis said. So we went to go find him."we looked everywhere"I said scared."not the basement"marquis said."the ba.. Basement"I said as I didn't want to go down there.We walked clinged to each other until we found a small door.About 3 feet tall.It looked like it was burnt.But this house went down in flames in 2010.I guess they never took care of it or something.    So then we carefully pushed the door open.It creaked.Then we heard another thud.Are you sure we should do this.Then we heard someone say "hello".It sounded like jay but we couldn't hear it clear enough.It sounded like it was from the basement.We walked down the stairs.They creaked.Then we were at the bottem.We saw something,something horrifying.It sounded like it was munching on something.But what? I thought in my head.                                      "What is that marquis"I said.Just then the creature turned around and looked at us.It was POOT.Then we quickly ran out and went home.The creature was chasing us.Just the way it ran was not human.                          "hi..mom"I said panting.
"What's wrong"My mom asked.      
"Nothing "I said as walked away.I was sad because we didn't find him.           
The next morning my mom got a phone call from jays mom.She said he didn't come home last night.Oh no(I said in my head).Again we made a plan to hang out at the park.  
"We're gonna find jay"
I said.we went inside the house and looked every where.Then we saw a sneaker of his and a sock.We looked everywhere for his body but he was nowhere to be found.That creature we saw earlier was still outside so we had nothing to be scared of.    Then we checked the basement one last time before we left.It was pretty scary.We shined the mini flashlight I had until we hit something.And the creature form earlier had a friend named jay.
