Chap.2

I took the steps two at a time; we lived in a big, but dirty, and not-so-safe house, in the middle of the woods. Down stairs Lucius Malfoy, my home-school teacher, was setting up a big mirror and muttering strange words, I knew it was a spell and didn’t bother listening to it- school wasn’t today, it was Saturday.

Other people, death eaters, which were Fathers followers, stood around, Severus Snape stood too, looking cold and angry which was normal for him.

“Well hello, Severus.” I said in my normal, calm voice, Father told me to never show real emotion, it was dangerous.

“Dark Lords Daughter, how nice it is to see you.” He responded, standing up straighter.

I was use to the Death Eaters calling me ‘Dark Lords Daughter’ my name was Jessica, but no one ever called me that but Bellatrix- and that was sometimes.

“Here.” Severus said, holding out a piece of parchment and a glass beater, it held a bright green substance which I knew was the Wolfsbane potion, for Remus Lupin, who was a werewolf.

“Suck up?” I asked him, taking them both. Snape didn’t answer and by that time Voldemort said, “Its ready, Daughter get ready. Get Sasha.” I did as I was told; getting my trunk and making Sasha go into my purse that was made bigger with a spell by Lucius.

“Okay, walk straight into the portal, it will take you straight to Hogwarts, over the summer you will stay with Zara, she lives right by James Potter so you can enter-act with him. Do what needs to be done and make me proud.” My Father said, without another word, I stepped into the bluish-black of the time portal.

I opened my eyes to see Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, students walked around, enjoying the sunshine and doing homework while playing games and teaseling filled the air. It was the first real day of school; my excuse was ready for why I missed the train.

I moved with ease, not caring that nearly everyone was watching me with confused looks. I got to the doors of the castle and a girl with long red hair stopped me, with no other than Snape by her side, she must be Lily, Harry’s would-be mum.

“Hi, I’m Lily, this is my friend Severus Snape, do you need any help?” She asked, nodding to my two trunks’ and shoulder bag.

“Sure, thank you Lily, I’m Jessica.” I said no need to be emotionless now- they’ll know something’s up.

Servers took one trunk and Lily took the other, so I still had my bag- which was good, I didn’t want Sasha trying to bite one of them, even though it would be a real easy way to ensure Harry never comes along.

“So I don’t remember seeing you around before.” Lily said polity, trying to make conversion.

“My mother had me home-schooled; worring is all she ever does!” I said with a laugh and a wave of my hand.

“Well I’m glad she let you start school. My mum was pleased when we got my letter, I’m muggle borned.” Lily explained, smiling as she led me to the Headmasters office.

We stopped by the Gorman (an enchanted stoned dragon).

“Wait- what is the password?” Lily asked biting her bottom lip in worry.

“Pigwigs.”  A voice behide us said.

I turned, as did Lily, but Serves yelped and just about hid behide Lily, as if about to be attacked.

I looked at James Potter, Sirius Black, Petter Pettigrew, and Remus Lupin. James had untidy black hair and golden eyes, he was wearing muggle clothes- jeans and a red T-shirt and glasses. Sirius had dark black eyes and black shaggy hair, he would be a lady’s man, no doubt about it - was dressed the same but with a blue shirt. Petter (light brown hair, and dark brown eyes was round like a pumpkin) and Remus (Dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, skinny and weak looking) both had on older looking robes.

“Agh! Go Away James!” Lily yelled, she was too busy glaring with hate to see a hidden stair case began to move upwards, to the Headmasters office.

“Hello.” I said abused by Lily’s reaction.

“Hello, I’m James; this is Sirius, Remus, and Petter.” James responded, pointing each boy out by nodding at them in turn. I almost laughed.

Almost.

“I’m Jessica.” I answered back, a smile coming to play on my face.

“Are you new?” Sirius asked before James could.

“Yes, homed schooled.” I replayed, looking at him; his black eyes were shinning with happiness and laugher.

“What house do you pose you’ll be in?” He asked, now that he said it I had no clue.

“Slytherin- I think.” I felt my confusion show. If I was in Slytherin how could I watch the others? If I wasn’t in Slytherin would Father get upset?

“What airth does your family come from?” Remus asked he looked open and polite, like Lily.

I laughed, “Slytherin.”  I said, I had laughed coldly, the things my parents had done.

“Mine too, but you never know.” Sirius grinned widely joy danced in his eyes, he seemed like a big goof-off to me.

“Why don’t we find out?” A voice behide us said. Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster of Hogwarts.
