A flutter of eyelashes, a faint morning blur. A constant buzzing, no, humming maybe? Brooklyn rolls onto her side and is greeted by her cherished laptop, still running, monitor half closed, most likely a half-hearted attempt to shut it down before dozing off the previous night. A quick glance out the window, just to check. Confirmation. The driveway stands empty, Charlie no where to be found, even on a Saturday. Typical, he's usually gone before dawn, down to the local diner to place bets on tonights game. He just can't help himself can he.

For a few rapid minutes Brooklyn's mind stays operating in a dreamlike fashion, though after a swift splash of the face the information comes flooding in, and she recalls her lastnights findings.

A smile spreads upon her naturally full lips, shimmering from the fresh coat of gloss. She had really done it. By calculating the rate of the dissapearances per year, and the exact dates and times, she was able to dicipher the precise pin point on the calendar at which all of these take place. There where three dates; Jan 1st, July 1st and December 1st, the current date is November 22nd. Brooklyn knew exactly what she had to do. Board a ferry from the Battery Maritime Building, New York, travel 1,290 miles to Miami, Florida, and finally, venture into the Bermuda triangle itself on a private boat. She already had it sorted, there was an exploration club located near the docks in Miami, they had already been contacted via email, and she was expecting a reply any time soon. To say that she wasn't a little nervous about the whole thing would be completely invalid, but then again, she wasn't scared either. Her entire lifes researched revolved around this one event, and it was going to happen. She was fully prepared, all of her triangle knowledge stored into her brain like packed sugar.

On November 29th, thats just one week from now, Brooklyn Anderson will commence her journey to the Bermuda triangle.
