When all the lights went out, I had a hell of a time.
"Lydia, what happened?", "How do you expect me to know? You're a nerd too.", said the Oh-so-faithful Lydia, who I still like, because she answers my questions with other questions and smart remarks. "I can always count on you to state the obvious, can't I?", I said. I felt my phone ring in my pocket, and then "the sound" came. With that horrendous sound, came powers, and then there was a voice that said,"You are now the ones who will rise up from Eden, and make a new life. You will ascend.". I asked of anyone else heard the sound, and all I got was, about only 2 people said it hurt. That kept happening for a while, and I was starting to get annoyed. Of course the powers manifested, and the voice never came back.
"I can walk on water and you guys didn't even know. Hey Lydia, look, 9 more Ascendants!", I said. There was 290 so far, i didn't have time for regular life. "Hold on, are these four the last ones to get here? Lydia, you might want to look at the Door....", "Squid, please leave me alone! I am trying to do actual work here! I don't need Captain obvious to point that out!", said Lydia. "You told me to keep count of the ascendants, so that's what I'm doing.", i said while controlling bubbles to pop on Captain Obvious (code name).
I got used to the fact that I wasn't normal. I got used to the fact that I was being a leader and I didn't even notice that I was being the coolest otaku nerd that there could be. Then something happened. All sorts of demons, dragons, monsters, and what we call " herders" came down to earth. The herders made an alliance with us and here we are, me, Lydia, Daenerys(my herder), and Finrir(Lydia's herder), falling off a roof. "Magnus star formation: killer moon!", Said Daenerys, who has the amazing power to control energy. I just made a bubble and floated away. "Finrir! Get Lydia and go get Shock!", I said. The last thing I saw was an explosion and dust.
