A Thousand Years Journey

New Beginning

The Windy City people call it, beautiful sky no clouds today. Remind me of Samantha's favorite color of Blue. The street is so busy so much noise. I'm just this small town guy trying to conquer this big city. Im so used to saying hi to pretty much all the people i see and so far no one said hi back. back home i know when someone says hi to you it is nice to get a hi back. but not here. people here are more busy than my old town. tried to keep up with them but i seem to fall behind. Trying to get myself used to this place I Found this cozy apartment Near the University that i will be attending and walking distance to everything. ""Park Grill" a modern american Restaurant seem to be my favorite hangout place this days. I'm not yet settled in my new apartment so "Park Grill" is my only kitchen and pretty much my Dining establishment. Day in Day out its where the only place you can find me, i sit there just watch people go in and out, order the same kind of food, for instance this young women named Jessica always buy that same burger every single day, that old couple who can't get enough of the sweets like they're are not diabetic already. Or this skater guy who just come and buy the same kind of float and always take dollar or two from the tip jar. Leo and Julie my two new friends here in Windy City, they run the "Park Grill" now and then they've been cashiering and waitering for almost 2 years. I see them as these two crazy madly in-love couple who can never get their hands off from each other.

"What brings you to The Windy City my friend ?" Leo asked

"Arts!" I answered.

"ahh so we have an ARTIST here" Julie spoke across the table

"not yet, but soon I hope" I mumbled

by the way The Art Institute of Chicago holds the largest collection of Impressionist paintings outside the Louvre in Paris, or so i read

We hang out most of the time.

They're so perfect with each other but the Weirdest couple who argue pretty much About everything and yet they're so deeply in love. Being with the two gives me hope that one day i'll find my perfect one. Their love story was amazing, listening how they met and how they waited for each other.

Julie would always ask Leo

Leo answered and kisses her.

Watching them two just warm my heart. They're so perfect with each other.

Have you been in love Julie asked

yes? Maybe? I think so? I'm not sure!

I can't really give them my straight answer.

I think i did at one time but maybe that feeling is just my excitement being in a new place. They laugh and pat my back

"it'll come your way" Leo said.

Their hopeless romantic friend they thought they could set me up, so they invited me to go to this cool party, for cool people only.

I guess I'm cool too" I laugh.

My very first party ever with crazy people.come to think of it, Im kinda excited. Maybe my first drink, more friends to meet and maybe i'll find my love the one who exist in the real world not just in my dreams. It was a chili night and i'm excited maybe i'll see the first snowflakes.

We arrived at the party entered this room and it was such an amazing sight. Drinks, loud musics, and girls.

"Is this what I've been missing?" I shouted.
