a work in progress. not sure how good it is. please comment with feedback.
The music blasted in my ear, as loud as I could possibly bare it, the speakers almost blown. This is how I escape. This is how, just for a little while, I can leave reality and go into a world purely of music. Where I don’t have to deal with any of the issues in my life.
I was sitting in the auditorium during study block one day fed up with the bitches in my class making petty comments about me and everyone else that wasn’t in their select group of friends. I was sitting in there for almost 10 minutes before I noticed him. He was sitting in the far corner of the auditorium, lounging over the seat, doing almost exactly the same thing I was, drowning out the world. The only difference was that he was staring right at me and I had the feeling that he had been for a while now. It wasn’t a creepy staring, just a curious knowing staring.
I quickly turned away. Not being able to stare into those endless blue eyes. A weird shiver went up my spine as I thought about how intense those bright blue eyes looked, like he actually saw me for me and not for who I seemed to be.
When I turned around again he was still looking at me. Just then the bell rang. He raised an eyebrow at me, smiled, and got up and left. I sat in shock for a few more minutes until I finally got up the nerve to get up and go to class. I was five minutes late.

The whole day I couldn’t keep him out of my mind. That razor cut straight black hair that fell perfectly in his bright blue eyes. The snake bite studs on his lips that I couldn’t help but imagining kissing. And that gorgeous smile that made me feel like melting.
The thing is, I’ve only shared one look with this guy and I feel he knows me better than anyone else. I feel like he actually understands me. Wow. I sound crazy. But it’s true. I just can’t get this guy out of my head.
