Armin Artlet stood upon the gigantic wall and surveyed the land below him. The titans - though terrifying - looked so small from this vantage point, some of their heads looked up pin pointed him sitting there on the wall. Armin exhaled, it was good to be alive; in his opinion existence was something to be celebrated, every single day was a joy and every new experience was a gift.

He closed his eyes relaxing and felt the wind ruffle his hair and press against his face. Then, whithout warning: the world broke apart. This seismic terror was preceded by a shaking, as if in an earthquake. Armin -jolted from his meditation - stumbled for balance as he peered over the edge of the walls down on to the meadows below. Just as he looked over the edge Armin saw - with horror - the land before him split in two like an egg. He screamed as the ground beneath him gave in and he tumbled down into the abyss below...


"Eren Jaeger, what the hell were you thinking!" Eren turned to see his furious, glaring  - yet small - mentor storming towards him.

"Sorry Levi, but-"

"but nothing, you deliberately disobeyed my orders," Levi growled, "Erwin and I are trying hard enough to get the Military Police off our backs without your stunts."

"I'm sorry, but when civillians are in danger wouldn't it be better if I saved them, I mean I have these abilities so why can't I use them to help people?" As Levi opened his mouth to reply the world shook.

"Ere- dear walls what is going on?"

"I've got no idea, an new invasion maybe?"

"The Colossal, no it couldn't be," Levi replied as another tremer shook the room.

"Levi, help..." Eren yelled as he crashed in a nearby wall, cracking his head against it. Levi had barely moved to help before the ground beneath them crumbled and he plunged into darkness...
