Chapter 8

It was 10:00 on Sunday morning when I woke up. Peter was still sleeping but I found him on the other side of his full size bed. He looks so cute when he's sleeping.

I went downstairs to find Cat.

"Good morning Kayla."
"Ah, oh good morning Mrs. Medico. You startled me."
"Oh I'm vey sorry I just wanted to say. While you were sleeping last night I talked to my son Peter and he said he has a very big crush on you."
"Oh REALLY! I mean oh that's cool."
"I see you like him as well?"
"Yes I won't lie to you but I have liked him for a while. And also do you go to church or anything on Sunday's?"
"Oh dear we don't, do you normally?"
"Oh no! Not at all I was just wondering because I brought a nice outfit just in case."
"Oh that's great! We are going to brunch today so you might need it."
"Ok that's great about what time?"
"About 11:00. Oh and we are taking you shopping! No saying no it's a host and hostess gift!"
"Oh please no I don't need you to spend your money on me! If you want I will pay but I just need a ride."
"Nope we are paying! End of story now go wake up Peter and get ready! Oh and last thing Please. Peter is really weird when he wakes up sometimes so be carful."
"Ok I will get to work!"
As I walked up stairs I heard she said something but I couldn't make out what.

As I woke up Peter he slowly opened his eyes to my smiling face. Then he kissed my cheek! I blushed I could feel blood rushing to my cheeks!

"Good morning Peter."
"Good morning Beautiful."
   He was leaning in for a kiss I would to its just I need to ask home something.
"Two days ago you wouldn't make eye contact with me and now you're kissing me!"
"Well within those two days I've realized I love you"
  "Peter I have something to say."
  "Yes?"
  "Same."
  "What?"
  "I feel the same way"
  "Oh. That makes more sense."
  "Yea... Oh and we are going to brunch and then to the mall to go shopping."
  "Ok I'm going to go shower then."
  "I showed last night right before I left."
  As I was getting ready Peter walked in on me with only a grey bra and a pair of black legging that hugged my skin. I quickly put on my flowy teal blouse and asked.
  "What the Heck! Can you please knock next time?"
  "Oh yea sure and by the way those leggings make you look hot!"
My god can this kid be any weirder!
  "Um thanks and... Uh a good bye!"
  So when he left I sat down and started on makeup.

  Once I finished I was called down stairs. I quickly put on my shoes and ran/walked down stairs. I said good morning to Bri and Mr. Medico. I was tolled there wasn't enough space in one car so we were going to have to take two. Peter and I went in Peters car. Mr. Mrs. Medico and Bri went in the other.

  "Aww mom why can't I go with them" Bri wined.

  "Because they need to talk about stuff that blabber mouths can't hear."

  "But mom I'm not a blabber mouth. I mean it's not MY fault Sheri lost something so precious last night at johns house and told me not to tell any one and not even my parents!"

  Mrs. Medico gave her an "I told you so" look.

  "I see your point. But Ma! I won't do it any more! Especially after Joy told me not to tell anyone that she stole her new necklace from the mall! Oops!"

  "Yea oops I'm talking to her mom abut this when we drop Kayla back at her house."

  Peter took off after that and we started talking. I asked if we were officially dating. He said

  "I don't know that depends do you want to be my girlfriend?"
  "Yes"
  "Ok then it's settled we are now officially dating!"
  He's really funny and he cracked some jokes on our way there. Then he asked me.
