"B-beep b-beep b-beep."

What the hell was that annoying beeping? Why are there railings on the side of my bed? The smell of antiseptic entered my nose, and my eyelids fluttered open. The first thing that registers into my brain is, why was I in a hospital? My bed was surrounded by a group of familiar-looking people. “Thank goodness you’re awake!” A boy about sixteen with blonde hair, green eyes and an Australian accent said. Relief was evident in his voice.

“I don’t know who you are but I feel hatred, anger, and sadness towards you,” I said bluntly.

“What? I don’t underst-“ Harry stuttered anxiously.

“Don’t be a prick. I know exactly who you are. And…you,” I saw Jessica standing by my bedside. I looked at her curiously, wondering if Jason would be nearby. Then I remembered what happened.

All hell broke loose.

I began to claw at Jessica’s face, screaming and howling like a wild animal. No one should ever underestimate the power of fingernails. The Australian boy pulled Jessica away while Harry and Alli tried to restrain me. “Liam, Zayn, Niall, Louis, get the doctor!” Harry struggled to restrain my arms.

“No, I want to stay with Jadelyn,” A blonde-haired boy with blue eyes and an Irish accent walked towards me.

“Harry, she might hurt him!” Alli urged.

A female doctor entered the room with a syringe. “We need to knock her out,” she jabbed my arm, and I felt like I was drifting away to a more peaceful place. Spots of black began to cloud my vision, but before I was swallowed by the darkness, the Irish boy looked into my eyes and said softly, “I’m Niall Horan. You may not remember me, but you’ll be alright. I promise.”

No One’s POV

Jadelyn layed on the bed peacefully, her hair a tangled mess. Everyone in the room was shocked at her angry outburst. Yes, Jadelyn hated Jessica with a burning passion, but never had Jadelyn tried hurting Jessica physically. Unbeknownst to them however, they were in for more surprise.

“Jadelyn, I believe, has lost part of her memory,” Mr Sacramento concluded. The boys, Alli, Jessica and her parents could not believe their ears. A simple fainting fit could not have caused her to forget everything! It seems impossible that less than four hours ago, they were all at the concert venue. Now she suddenly has memory loss? “When she fainted, she hit her head on the ground. Hard. It is likely that this is just temporary and that she will start to remember in about a week. However…” Dr Sacramento trailed off.

“What?” Cody asked.

“The human brain is extremely complex and not fully understood. When Miss Styles arrived, her vital signs were stable. She did not pass out because of dehydration, starvation, or lack of sleep, which are the common causes for a person to faint.”

“Well then, why did she faint?” Mrs Middleton, Jadelyn’s mother, asked.

“The answer is indefinite. I have come up with a possible theory,” continued Dr Sacramento. “A strong emotional… Well, to simply put it, a past event -a memory- that carries strong emotions, could have triggered this. If I’m not wrong, the people who Jadelyn knows are involved, she will remember. I think the memory must have been associated with the conversation she was having before she passed out.”
