Lacys' features changed a lot. She now stands 6'5'' with very long wavy blonde hair that goes to about her hips, and her breasts are fuller and she is in shape. She had decided working out a couple months ago and it improved her greatly. She really could be a super model. Lacy was going to college. Not just any college though, Lacy was going to the Harvard University. Lacy wanted to make her father and her new dad, Tom proud. She knew She was doing the right thing. She was excited for herself and for her future. Lacy was going for something big. She knew that if she did things right she would get almost anything she wanted. It took her a matter of one week to move into a condo with Toms help. Her mother stayed home. Tom went out and bought her things for her new condo. She could not thank Tom enough for all he has done for her. Getting her a condo, by a beautiful lake, things she needed for it, transportation. Tom was amazing! Lacy knew she was at the age that she needed to move out. She was excited, and most importantly Tom was proud of her.

During the week they spent together helping Lacy move into her condo, Tom and Lacy bonded more. They finally got to a resting point where they could actually sit down and talk to one another.

"Now Lacy, I want to marry your mother, and I hope you're okay with that," Tom paused. He looked at Lacy nervously.

-"Why do you feel bad Tom, Go ahead, Shes had her years of mourning and grieving, which obviously she didn't care. Don't beat  yourself up about it." Lacy smiled at Tom.

"I just feel so bad, I mean, did your father love her still? Would he not have wanted me to marry and love her?"

-"You know Dad, I can't answer all that, but when I had that last phone call with him..." Lacy paused.

"-He said he was waiting to be free from her...." Lacy looked down in sadness.

"So! We all only have one life to live, and if this is the way you and my mom want to live-live it before its too late." Tom smiled at her and went over to kiss her on her forehead.

"I love you, you know that:)"

-"I know. Come over here and help me move this."

Lacy was nervous about going to Harvard. There was a lot of stress on her, plus she lived alone. Maybe she could find a roommate, or a friend... It wasn't super important, Lacy had just got there, she knew she needed to remember what classes she had to take, not worry about new friends.

"You know, living alone is not so bad." Tom was watching the worried look she had on her face.

-"Yes, I know, but I hate being alone. I grew up alone." Tom sighed. She had a point.

"I'm sorry about your mother."

-"Don't apologized for her. I love her, but her actions are not your fault."

"How about I get you someone to live with? Yes?"

-"What do you mean?"

"Well I figured if you don't like the idea of being alone, I will get out the message." Lacy thought about it.

-"Just don't embarrass me okay?"

"Haha, you're too pretty to be embarrassed." Lacy looked at him strange. "I'm just saying, all I have to do is let some of the professors know and they tell the class, you won't even know. If people want to, they will come up and ask, and you may say no."

-"Okay, sounds good Dad, thanks."

It finally came time for Tom to leave. Lacy was very sad about this, and she openly went crying to him. They sat on the bed for an hour before Tom left. She cried and wept, because she was scared and didn't want him to leave just yet. Tom held her until she pulled herself together. He knew exactly how she felt.

"I know this may be a bit abrupt, but trust me, you want to be on your own, and not so dependent on others. You need this, though you may not think so." Tom hesitated to continue what he was saying to her. "...and you may find someone hopefully to help you with your life. Maybe a friend for homework. Or perhaps a lover-"

-"Dad!"

"Hey you're an adult now, it is bound to happen and you know it. I'm just saying, so calm down sweetheart."

Tom and Lacy both stood up, and Lacy started crying again. Tom hugged her to him one last time, kissed her on the forehead, and said goodbye. Lacy was now alone. She went over to the window and watched tom leave. She was sad, but happy she found comfort in him, just like she did her dad. She finished unpacking her things and made her self some good old fashioned macaroni and cheese for dinner and after a while of watching TV, she went to bed.
