Chapter 2: Breaking My Rules

I always hated waking up in the mornings, I was so not a morning person. The only time I would say I was a morning person was after prom when Chase and I got a hotel room the night that I lost my virginity. I woke up to small kisses and to the most wonderful, caring, loving, guy who was smiling down at me while moving away small trends of my hair that was in my face "Good Morning beautiful" he whispered to me making me blush. Take me back to that day matter of fact take me back to 8th grade and let's do it all over again and this time I'm never leaving his side. Life was so wonderful back then I had it so easy until I grew up, until there was college who messed up everything. Chase and I use to talk about our future and how when we got older we would have three kids together and we would move to a big house. Sometimes I do have hope that those things can still come true and that Chase and I will meet again and get back together, and sometimes I just feel stupid that I'm still thinking about these things that was years ago. For all I know Chase can be married right now or maybe he has a girlfriend and she has his kids, any things possible right ?

I finally got up and brushed my teeth then I drove down to the cafe to have a cup of coffee. After ordering the same thing I always ordered I sat down at my regular spot. My hair was a mess and I still had sleeping clothes on and a robe, I wasn't trying to impress nobody I just wanted some coffee.

"Your looking quite lovely today", Hunter said as he sat down across from me.

"Very funny Hunter and I'm sorry about yesterday I was in a rush".

"No problem I just wanted to know how Amber was doing she hasn't been picking up my calls lately" he said a little disappointed . Hunter and Amber went out for about a year and a half until she broke it off I'm not really sure why but I remembered her saying that her feelings for him changed and that she doesn't think that Hunter is the right guy for her. Of course Hunter being the nice guy that he is didn't give up because he was truly in love with her he sent her flowers, cards, and gifts bag but Amber refused to go back out with him. I tried helping the poor guy but Amber can be a little hard headed sometimes.

"Well she's doing fine" I said.

"That's good to hear can you tell her I said hi".

"Of course". After the conversation was done with Hunter left and I checked my watch which read 5:30, "wow time do pass by". I got home and hop in the shower then I curled my hair and threw on a nice long blue dress with some white sandals and headed downstairs

"Woah momma somebody must have a hot date tonight!", Amber yelled.

"It's not a date were just going as friends",I corrected her.

"Let me guess Adrian Walter once again manage to go on a third date with Mindy Brooks, bonus points for Walter" she joked.

"Says the one who still haven't gave Hunter another chance" I fired back.

"Ouch! that was cold good one"

"Which reminds me I ran into him at the coffee shop he says hi"

She made her way to the living room and sat down turning on the television "well next time when you see him can you tell him that I said to stop blowing me up the dude calls like every hour I seriously need a new number".

Before I could say anything there was a knock at the door and since Amber eyes were glued to the tv screen I decided to go get it. I walked over to the door and opened it to see Walter standing in casual clothing then what he usually wear to work he also had a bouquet of flowers.
