The whole time during class I felt on edge. Matthew sat next to me and Mrs Bagley actually allowed us to choose our own seating. I felt nervous. I couldn't focus on anything Mrs. Bagley talked about because I could feel his eyes on me. My body felt alive with just the known fact that if I moved my foot just an inch it would be touching him. We got to sit in tables. Four people at each one. Besides Jack, Matthew, and I, there was another girl Mia. She was this tiny thing and doodled alot in her binder.
"And that's it for today. The bell is about to ring. Remember to bring old clothes tomorrow as we'll begin our week of cheesy potato soup," Mrs. Bagley called out to the class.
"Can I walk you to your next class?" His voice sounded so amazing.
"Yeah, what do you have next?" I said hoping I sounded as calm as I looked.
"Mr. Rohl. English. What about you?" He asked me smiling a small smile as if what I had to say was the most interesting thing in the world.
Gosh those eyelashes. They're so long and his eyes...oh god. What were we talking about?
Oh right.
"I have Mr. Bingham. I think that's right past your class," I answered quickly.
"You have Bingham!? I do too!" Jack exclaimed.
The bell rang and we made our way outside. Like ants, students filled the hallway and quad area heading to their next class. I hope I make it since my class is on the other side of the campus and all we have is five minutes to get there. Matthew walked ahead of me and I trailed behind as we fought our way through the crowd. Well, one class down, five more to go.
Once we got a good way out of the crowd we walked side by side. I was in the middle of Jack and Matthew. I spotted couples here and there kissing or simply talking but hugging and I felt myself blush at the image of me kissing Matthew. Him and Jack were too busy talking to notice my red cheeks. Luckily by the time I was included in their conversation I gained control of my redness.
"I'll catch you in class, Azlyn," Jack said walking ahead as we stopped in between mine and Matthews classrooms.
The bell still hasn't rung, so I leaned against the rail and faced Matthew. He had stopped infront of me and had his hands in his pockets.
"So, I'll see you around?" He asked me looking down at me through those eyelashes of his.
"Uh...yeah. definitely. Maybe we can hangout at lunch sometime?"
"Yeah, I'd like that," he answered smiling.
All I managed to say was a lame 'okay'.
By now I noticed it was looking empty as most students had already went inside so I straighten myself up about to go in. I was stopped by a hand grabbing my forearm and spun me around.
"I need a hug first," he teased.
"Haha, oh. Yeah, okay, " I stuttered as he wrapped his arms around me.
Looking over his shoulder I saw one of my guy friends, Joe, winking at me which caused me to blush. I quickly let go of Matthew and turned around and walked to my class.
"Oooh, Azlyn gots a boyfriend," Joe teased me as we walked through the door.
"Shut up," I said feeling myself yet again turn red.
"Did they kiss yet?" A voice yelled from the other end of the classroom.
My eyes widened with embarrassment as all eyes turned to the commotion. Jack was sitting up on his desk, his feet in the chair, looking expectedly at Joe. I turned my attention to the person behind me as he gave me an evil smirk.
