Y/N pulls up to another abandoned gas station for one reason. Gotta pee. 'Stupid bladder.' Y/N thought.

She got out of the car and took her shotgun with her. She look around just in case an undead pounce on her. She's always been afraid of a lot of things but this is the fear that she have to get used to.

She sigh as she approach the woman's bathroom. Once she reach it, she starts debating whether to open the door. God knows what's in there.

She reach for the door knob but stop and thinks. She back away from the door and she have made the right call cause a male zombie burst out the door.

Y/N flinched and fires the shotgun wildly, missing each time. Instead of fighting, she turns and run straight to her car. Y/N runs around the corner only to find a female zombie, blocking her way to her car. It screams and made a beeline towards her.

Y/N fires at the zombie but hits her at the arm. "I'm screwed," Y/N mumbles at she looks at her gun with no ammo.

She sprints toward the field beside the gas station with the two zombies chasing her. She lead them in a big circle back towards the gas station and car.

Y/N runs up to her car, pulls out her keys, then spastically drops them as she's going to put them in the lock.

"Shit!" Y/N curse.

Y/N almost reach down but she saw the zombies are catching up so she pick the wise decision to run again. She again lead them in a big circle.

This time, she successfully pick up the keys and was about to put them in the lock when she notice that the car wasn't even locked. She rolled her eyes then opens the door. She jump inside, close the door and put the key in the ignition. She stops to fasten her seatbelt before backing up.

She speeds down the street as she watch the zombies trying to chase her. When all is clear, she breaths a huge sigh of relief.

Y/N goes to adjust the rear-view mirror where she saw a zombie with a big bloody grin sitting in her backseat in it.

Y/N screams in surprise before slamming her brakes, bashing to a store. The zombie launches from the backseat, smashes to the windshield into the store. Y/N is saved by her seatbelt, which tugs hard on her chest.

'Thank you seatbelt' Y/N thought.

Suddenly the zombie jumps at the hood of the car startling Y/N. It tries to get back through the hole in the windshield.

A terrified Y/N hurriedly pops her shotgun and grab an ammo under the seat. She aims it at the mouth of the zombie then shoot the zombie out of the hood.

Letting a big puff of breath, Y/N got out of her car and stands over the zombie before shooting him again in the head.

------

Y/N abandon her car so she is now walking in the street with her rolling suitcase.

Y/N is now on her way from her college dorm in Austin, Texas to Columbus, Ohio. Where she's hoping her parents are still alive. Eventhough they're were never really close, Y/N thought it will just be nice to see a familiar face. Or any face that doesn't have blood dripping from it's lips and flesh between it's teeth.

Y/N always been kind of a loner. She have avoided people like they were zombies; before they were zombie. Now that they're all zombies, she kinda miss people.

Y/N is starting to get tired. She just want to find a new ride. Moments past, she begun to here distant rumble of an engine.

She turn around and saw a black Cadillac Escalade heading towards her way. She hides beside an abandoned car and stuck her shotgun out when the car stop in front of her.

The door open revealing a woman, maybe 20 something. She have an intimidating aura around her that made Y/N scared. It's hard to trust people nowadays.

The woman has a unreadable expression on her face. Y/N stood up with her shotgun still pointing towards the stranger. The stranger rolls her eyes before calmly reaching into her car pulls out a rifle and pointing it at Y/N. The stranger put her finger on the trigger.

'Uh-Oh' Y/N though as she wipes the sweats on her forehead. She lowers her shotgun, setting it down and raise her hands. She smiles embarrassingly before sticking out one thumb.

The stranger rolls her eyes again before lowering her gun down. She motions Y/N to 'get in' using her head.

As Y/N got in the passenger seat, she look over her shoulder at the back seats.

"What are you looking for?" The stranger said with a British accent.

Y/N look back at the stranger before scratching the back of her neck. Some people might found her list of rule dumb or 'nerdy'.

"Nothing umm," Y/N said, "I had this list..." She trailed off.

"No ones back there but my duffel bag." The stranger said.

Y/N clears her throat, "What's your name?"

"Stop," the stranger raise one of her hand as she keeps her other hand on the steering wheel and eyes still on the road, "No names. Where are you from?"

"Umm, Columbus." Y/N said.

"Hi Columbus. I'm London." The stranger reach out her hand to shake Y/N's.

Y/N looks at her weirdly, "So I'm guessing your from London?"

"I am. Can't you tell by the accent?"

Y/N just blinks, "So you don't want to be called by your name? You want me to call you London?"

"Correct."

"May I ask why?"

London sigh, "Keeps us from getting too familiar."

Y/N hums and doesn't reply for a minute. "Wait, what if we met someone new who happens to be from London."

London shrugs, "Haven't thought that far ahead."

Y/N smiles, "You know, if I knew that I would be a Columbus I would have said that I'm from Hawaii. At least that can be more of a girls name."

"You can switch to Hawaii." London says.

"Nah, I'm good." Y/N said.

"You sure?" London said with a hint of sarcasm.

"Yeah," Y/N said, "Where you headed?"

"Anywhere. As long as it's east."

Y/N keeps quiet for a seconds. She doesn't want to question London's privacy for obvious reason.

"You know, Columbus is at East."

"So?"

"So wanna stick together London? At least for a while." Y/N ask hopefully.

London stop the car and face Y/N, "Here's the deal, Columbus. Im not easy to get along with and I'm sensing you're a bit of a bitch." Y/N frowns.

"I'll get this relationship to about uh, Texarkana." London says.

"Really? Yeah. You'll take me as far as Texarkana." Y/N says with a grateful expression.

"You're a pappy little spit fúck aren't you? Lose the face."

Y/N lose the face and shuts her mouth. The car fell into silence until Y/N decided to broke it, "I have a small bladder."

"Clench and hold." London says sternly as she starts the car again.

"Got it," Y/N said, "You might wanna buckle up, you know for safety."

London scoff, "I can tell already, you are getting on my nerve."
