제1장

- V's pov-

V: My life changed after my mom passed away, I only had my sister and my dad. When I was in grade 9, my dad married another women and left me and my sister in the streets, luckily we had a friend that was our mom's friends daughter that would give us a place to stay in.

Irene: I knew no matter what happens I need to stay by V's side because he needs someone to look after for his life. I  believe our mom is watching us somehow, so that I will always do the best we can to impress her. But V is different, he got angry because of his mom and that is why he is like this now.

<< Flashback <<

" V let's go to school now!" Irene shouted.

" I'll be right there " V replied.

They went to school, V had an angry look and he never smiles.

" let's have a good day today " Irene told V.

" Okay, you go first " V answered.

Irene park her bike in the parking area and ran to class. In the meantime, V was walking alone, he liked a girl from his class named Yu Tae-Ming. Whenever he look at her, she turns away and walk somewhere else where she can't see V.

He continued walking to class,

" Good morning class " The teacher said.

" Morning " The students greeted.

The door opened and V came in the classroom,

" You! This is the 30th time you are late to class, go stand at the back!" The teacher shouted.

He gave the teacher the look and went to the back for his punishment.

At lunch break, Irene was with her friends while V is just sitting quietly staring at his food.

Irene saw him and walked up to his table

" Why aren't you eating?" Irene asked V.

" I can't stop thinking about the meals mom use to cook us" V answered.

" Oh that... Why don't you just eat for now" Irene told him.

" I have no appetite today" V replied.

" You will get sick" Irene said.

" I don't really care anymore" V said back.

He stood up and took his tray to the kitchen table for the cleaning service to take it,

" Why can't he just continue his life instead of looking back" Irene thought.

She went back to her table and continue eating her lunch with her friends. They were asking her about V but she kept quiet because she wants to protect V from rumors that may be told to everyone.

-Irene's pov-

My brother cause alot of trouble this term and I think that is why he does not have any friends to be with, he has been sad and depressed because of things that happen long time ago, it's really hard to make him stop thinking about it. I just want to be a good sister and help out with anything that I could for him.

In dismissal,

" V let's go home" I said.

" Wait a minute" V told me.

" What is it?" I said.

" Look " V asked me to look near the parking area.

We saw the guy that fought with mom when we were younger, he was mom's manager back then and he didn't pay my mom for working in his company so she got fired out of no reason.
