Silence.....
It deafens us from reality,
Pressure pushes down on us,
We still hear nothing.
Our eyes open.....
We are blinded,
White envelops us,
White turns to black.
Burning.....
Smoke flows through the air,
Fills our lungs,
Kills all the other smells and senses.
We close our eyes again.....
Drift away,
Rocked asleep like a baby,
The ringing dies down.
We are gone.....
A shock vibrates through us,
A gasp of fresh air bellows out the smoke,
Roars and screams fill the silence,
Our eyes open.....
Pain spears its way through us,
We turn our head to see the dead pile up,
We live once more,
To kill again.
