You know how some people say that when you die, you go towards a light? Well, I think the meaning behind it is that the world that we live on is dark and dreadful. It's scary and somewhat unforgiving, not letting us see what it is by hiding in the darkness. So if we want to escape the darkness, the world, you have to follow the light, to die.
