(Ryder p.o.v)
Emma and jay were dropped off at their house and now im taking Macey to my house.
"Ryder? Why don't we just go to my house?" She asked.
"Cause we need to talk and I want you to spend the night at my house." I said turning to look at her.
"She is so beautiful, I need to apologies for ignoring her and not giving her a chance to explain herself." I thought as we pulled up in my drive way.
"Oh my god!" My body burned with anger as she said the 'g' word.
"Don't say that word again." I said to her then took her into the house.
"The house is so beautiful..." Macey whispered as she sat on the large black sofa.
"Thank you! would you like something to eat, drink?" I asked her remembering when she envited me in her house after our date.
"Um...some water is fine thanks, Ryder!" She said and i walked into the kitchen to get her the water.
"we need to talk!" I said to her when i handed her the water.
"Your right...im really sorry about hurting your feelings Ryder, I didn't know that you were sensitive about your age...i didn't even know that you could hear me in the first place.
I saw how hurt you looked and i dont ever want to see that look on your face ever again." She said as her eyes began to water.
"It's alright, I forgive you. I love you, Macey!" I said to her softly not liking the sight of her crying.
"Hey mace?" I said to her. "Yes Ryder?"
"Remember when you told me that it would be hard for me to gain any love from you?" I said to her giving her a smirk.
"Yeah...I just noticed how easy I fell for you." she said and I kissed her.
We sat on the couch in silence until Macey broke it. "Rdyer?...what's heat?"
"I-I...uh well...heat is...heat is a phase that the female or in some cases male, mate goes through with there dominant mate." I told her feeling too embarrassed to tell her full details.
"Uh...wha?" she said giving me a 'i don't get it' look.
I let out a sigh and began to explain. "It is a process that increases the lust you feel for your mate to a piont were it's physically painful." She gives me an 'are you crazy' look.
"It is also dangerous to anger the dominant mate while the other is in heat or with child." I look at my hands waiting for her to say something.
"So let me get this straight...heat is a process that makes me super horny and if I don't have sex with you it will hurt and if someone gets you angry when im in heat or...pregnant you'll go insanely mad?" she asked slowly.
"Pretty much!" I said giving her a 'finally' look. "Um...Ryder?" She said as she turned to face me.
"Huh?" I answered her as I turned on the TV and started to flip through the channels.
"When will my heat start?" I dropped the remote in my lap and gaped at her.
(Macey's p.o.v)
"When will my heat start?" I asked him. He dropped the remote in his lap and gaped at me like I just asked the most terrifying question in the world.
"I-In a couple days!" He said nervously then returned to changing the channels as quickly as possible.
"What!" I yelled. "Don't worry about it, I won't be here anyway!" He said with a pained expression.
"What...what do you mean you won't be here?" I felt like my world was about to be crushed.
"When you go into heat im going to wait it out in the underworld." He said as a deep frown made its way onto his face.
"But why? Why would you do that to me? Just up and leave me when im going to need you...when im going to be in pain?" By now I was Niagara Falls with my hands pounding on his firm chest.
He grabbed my hand and look me dead in the eye.
"Because I know you aren't ready to give yourself to me like that yet and I dont want to hurt you because of my stupid lust. I love you more than my life itself, thats why." He shouted the gave a long loving kiss.
"I understand. I'm sorry, baby!" I whispered to him as I rested my head against his chest.
"Its fine...do you want to go somewhere with me tomorrow night?" He said
"Sure, where will we be going?" I said to him as I began to softly kiss all over his neck.
"H-Hey, stop it! And as for whenever were going...thats for me to know and you to find out. Now get to sleep and we'll spen the whole day together tomorrow." He said as he kissed my head.
I looked up at him then rested back on his chest and fell asleep.
"Maybe I should give myself to him soon. He is my mate after all...he is the only man im gonna be with and I love him, so why not?" I thought then drifted into dreams of Ryder and I.
(Ryder's p.o.v)
".....R-Ry...Ryder!" Macey moaned in her sleep as if she was dreaming of me touching her.
I could feel my member harden at the moan. "Why do you do this to me Macey?" I thought as I drifted into a slumber of my own.
Holding Macey protectively to my body so she wouldn't fall on the ground and hurt herself if I move around in my sleep.
