A woman woke to the sound of a blender, and an ache in her right foot. She opened her eyes to find herself lying on her dining table, and her abusive husband blending her toes in her mother's old blender. She screamed, but nothing came out of her mouth, as she watched him pour the choppy blood into the cup and chug the substance down.
