Chapter 26: The Lucky Ones (Ash) (Good Ending)

Ash decided that he was going to the lodge because Brayan was taking a while to come back. Ash walked on and on until he got to the lodge. He walked inside to find Vivy, Ally, Vanesa, Em, Cam, and Lucas's bodies hanging from the living room ceiling. Ash knew that Brayan must have Kat. Ash saw Brayan and Kat come out of a wardrobe. Ash felt relief but not for long. Ash saw Grace hanging from the ceiling looking at them. "Don't move." Ash whispered. Brayan and Kat stopped in the middle of the living room. Ash heard a window break upstairs. A few minutes later, another creature that was a greyish color came down into the living room. Ash noticed that the creature was Josh Washington. Josh was the guy that no one found his body. Grace screeched and clashed with Josh. Ash was standing still until Brayan whispered, "Fireplace." Ash looked at the fireplace and saw that the gas was leaking out. Brayan sent Kat outside. Kat walked slowly out the door. Brayan headed for the light bulb that was in a lamp in the living room. Brayan crushed the light bulb and Grace turned around facing Brayan. Ash decided that he was going to scream. "Hey." Ash yelled. Grace turned around to face Ash. Ash knew that if he didn't move then he would be safe. Ash stood as still as possible as Grace kept getting closer to Ash. Josh came and tackled Grace. Grace threw Josh down. Ash ran to this pillar that was in the living room hiding behind it. Grace got closer to Ash this time she was screeching loudly. She was two feet away from Ash. Josh came and picked Grace up and threw her. Wendigo was the name Ash came up with because they reminded him of a legend. Ash ran to this cobblestone wall. Brayan was slowly moving to the door. Brayan ran outside. Ash was up against the wall. Grace screeched and started to move to where Ash was. Grace kept moving closer and closer until she got three inches from Ash's face. She screeched when she was that close to Ash. Vanesa's body fell to the ground and Grace ran toward it. Ash ran as fast as he could to the switch. Josh reached for Ash but Grace grabbed him. Ash switched the switch causing a big explosion. Ash jumped down from the stairs and the explosion pushing his jump forward into the snow. Ash heard loud screams from Grace and Josh being burnt alive. Ash saw a helicopter. "There are three survivors." The man in the helicopter announced. Ash looked at Brayan and Kat and knew that they were going to make it. Ash, Brayan, and Kat got into the helicopter. Ash looked out the window of the helicopter as it flew over the mountain. He saw the pretty sunset come up slowly and he knew that is was dawn. Ash sat next to Brayan and he lied down on his shoulder. Kat was looking at Brayan and Ash and she smiled. They all knew that they were survivors. Ash knew that they survived until dawn.
