Chapter 2
Rose petals flew over the girls slender form, blowing her snow-white hair back. She sucked in a breath as her rosehip red eyes widened.
"Welcome to the Ouran Host Club."
When the petals had cleared, the girl beheld six slim figures, one of them sitting in a throne like chair in the middle of the group. The one that was missing, she noted, was Kyoya, otherwise known as her ex-boyfriend. Ex-boyfriend. The words cut into her like a knife.
"Ah, we have a new guest!" Tamaki Suoh, the leader of the Host Club, announced. "Hello, princess! I am Tamaki Suoh, but you can call me King!"
"I know who you are, Tamaki. We're in the same year," The girl said, annoyance in her tone. "And I'm no princess. I'd have to be in Class 2-A for me to be called that."
"Nonsense, my good lady!" He exclaimed, and she rolled her eyes. "So, what type do you prefer? Do you prefer the natural type?" He motioned to a feminine-looking boy with brown hair and brown eyes. "The Devil type?" He motioned to a pair of twin boys who smiled a little evilly. "The Strong and Silent type?" He motioned to a tall boy who looked rather disinterested. "The Boy-Lolita type?" He motioned to a short boy who looked like he could have still been in elementary school. "Or maybe the Princely type?" At that, Tamaki offered her a rose.
"How about the Doesn't-Put-You-Last-On-His-List-of-Priorities type?" She snapped, causing Tamaki to turn white and shrink back. "I'm sorry, Tamaki."
"It's alright, no harm done." Tamaki smiled, instantly turning to normal. "Either way, we normally don't have a new guest who has such a specific type. Hikaru, Kaoru!" He looked over at the twins.
"Yes, sir!" The boys answered, assuming a military pose.
"Entertain our newest guest. Make sure there's not a single frown line on her face before she leaves!" Tamaki ordered. The twins nodded and swished over to her side, each one taking an arm and carrying her off to their area.
"So, Kanra..." One of them drawled, she believed it was Kaoru.
"What made you want visit us today?" The other, maybe Hikaru, finished. She looked back and forth between them.
"I thought I saw someone looking in the window at me, that's all." She said flatly. "Now, aren't you supposed to be entertaining me?"
"We are." One said. "I'm Hikaru, by the way, and this is Kaoru." He motioned to the boy beside him. "We're the Hitachiin Twins."
"We're also your current hosts." Kaoru said with a grin. "So, tell me, what's your opinion on brotherly romance?"
"Honestly?" She questioned. The twins nodded. "Not a big fan on it. Brotherly love should stay just that. Brotherly." The boys gaped at her, their world obviously shattered. The girl grinned inwardly. "But, what you do in your spare time is what you do, so, for as long as I'm here, don't be bringing up what I don't want to know." Hikaru and Kaoru looked almost spellbound. No girl at Ouran could resist the forbidden brotherly romance involving twins. Yet, the girl apparently didn't care for it, which was both odd and rare.
"Well, how about the Which One is Hikaru Game?" Hikaru questioned.
"I just met you, and you expect me to tell you apart?" She deadpanned. "It's entertaining to your regular clients, yes, but I'm new, so I still have yet to tell which is which. Fair warning, thought: I'm an excellent listener, and I commit peoples tones of voice to memory." Once again, the twins were spellbound. It was getting harder and harder to please this girl.
"OW!" Hani cried out, falling off the couch he was sitting on. The girl was quick to rush over and look on as Mori picked Hani up off the floor.
"Mitsukuni." Mori said, giving Hani a hard look.
"I'm alright, Takashi." Hani said, looking at Mori with a bright smile. An "aaaaaaaw!" was heard, and the Host Club looked to see the girl blushing bright red. So there were some things she couldn't resist.
"So, your the Boy-Lolita type, eh?" Hikaru said, a devilish glint in his eyes.
"If only we had known." Kaoru said, his eyes reflecting the devilish glint.
The twins then pounced on her, bombarding her with thousands of pictures of Hani's cutest moments, as well as offering movies featuring Hani and Mori. The girls face only brightened, till it looked like she was going to explode.
"Would you leave me alone?!" The girl cried out, easily knocking the Hani memorabilia out of their hands. "I thought the moment was cute, alright?" The girl then stomped out of Music Room #3, a big scowl on her face.

The boy, who had been hiding in the dressing room and had heard everything, walked out as the door slammed shut, internally wincing. He gave the twins a pointed look, causing them to gulp and freeze, like deer caught in headlights.
"That," He said, pushing his glasses up, causing the light in them to shield his eyes, as easily as he hid the disgust in his voice. "Is why I was opposed to this plan. Now I'll have to go catch up with her." With that, the boy set his laptop on the table and took off after the girl, secretly pleased that he was doing the so called "chasing after" bit.
