Chapter 12

Today was the day of Liam's birthday party. I'm all dressed and I got Liam's gift. The doorbell rang and I knew it was Niall. I opened up the door to see a smiling Niall.

"Hello, wow you look great!" When Niall said that I think I blushed a bright pink because he laughed... why do I have to blush so easily? "Well you look great everyday"

"You look great yourself too" and with a smirk on my face we headed to his car.

When we got to Liam's party there were a lot of people and I could also see my friends there too. Me and Niall went up to Liam and we said together,

"Happy birthday!" Liam gave a wide smile.

"Thanks you guys" He saw what was in my hand and raised and eyebrow at me. "You didn't have to" then Niall gave a glare at Liam, I just squeezed as a signal for it's alright.

"Well I wanted to" I said as I handed him the gift. Then with that me and Niall went off to grab some food, we are major 'food fans'. After that we went our separate ways to mingle. I went up to my friends to see how they're doing.

"Hello!" I yelled to them over the music.

"Hello!" they yelled back.

"So how's the party?" I asked.

"Fantastic!" Ashely said in a high pitched girly voice. "And ah, I'd stay close to Niall because I think someone fancies you" Ashley pointed behind me and I saw Liam staring at me but he quickly turned his head away. What? He likes me? No way. Should I go up to him and talk to him or just ignore him the whole night? I just went with my instincts, so I walked up to him.

"Hey" I said all awkwardly.

"Hi" his eyes were directly at me. That kinda made me feel weird, I don't usually have such strong eye contact.

"So how did you like your present?" I gave him a Toy Story DVD set.

"I love it! How did you know I like Toy Story?" Liam said with such interest.

"Niall told me, so I gave you that" wow still holding the eye contact, my palms are sweaty now. Ew.

"Ahh I see I thought you just saw it on twitter" I gave little laugh and a smile so did he.

"Yea that too." Then we just both started to laugh not too much though.

"Well you look wonderful" I know I'm going to blush just wait for it... there I blushed darn it!

"Thanks, and you look wonderful yourself too" now there's an awkward smile on my face. Also my cheeks are still burning just a bit. "I'm gonna go get some fresh air" then I left. I knew he was following me. I could feel it at my back, there a bit of a tingly sensation. I reached outside and took a deep breath. Then comes along Liam at my left side.

"I also needed a breather" he said while looking out at the sun set. It was beautiful here outside, but this moment was awkward. "So you and Niall huh?" he asked still looking out.

"Uhh, yea I guess" I was looking at my feet. Something that I would do when things got really, really awkward.

"Look" he said and I turned my head up to make eye contact, "since it's you and Niall I guess you need to know this" and he took a big breath, "I've liked you since the day I saw you. I mean you look so beautiful and I've always tried to hold back because I knew that the boys liked you and so I didn't say anything" he let out a sigh. Now my eyes were wide and I was just trying to process this whole thing. Who's next telling me that they like me, Louis?

"I don't know what to say..." again I was looking down at my feet.

"Then don't say anything just let me show you" Liam slowly lifted my head up by my chin and we inched closer and closer until our lips were interlocked with each other. I froze. I didn't know if I should pull back and run or pull back and slap him across the face. I was about to do my first option until I heard him.

"What the?..." Niall was just standing there with his jaw dropped and eyes with surprise and hurt. Then he took off. I ran after him, even though I didn't feel good.

"Niall wait!" I yelled at him.

"Save it Jessie!" He yelled back at me without even looking at me. I still kept running, I tried my best but all of a sudden I threw up and fainted.

dun dun dun! can anyone guess what happened to Jessie? give you a hint, Niall. it should be pretty obvious.....
