The Nightmare Before Easter

Intro

"Why?" "Why should I have to listen to you?! Be your little personal slave? I do all of the work around here and you just sit here and be a slob!" I scream. "Gracie I... I" I run as fast as my feet will take me. I trip over the last Easter egg and take in the last glimpse of the pink sky and pastel colored eggs. I turn around, the tears running down my face. And keep running. I feel the air get colder as I walk farther and the take. The green trees begin to turn brown and my bare arms and legs get goosebumps. I hear rhythmical laughing in the distance. I walk towards it and see three kids dressed up in these unique costumes singing and dancing and laughing in a circle. "Hey Shock." One of them says while giggling and looking towards the tree I'm hiding behind. I cringe, a sliver of fear bubbling up inside of me. The girl, "shock" starts skipping my way. She knocks on the tree and opens a door from it. Shaped like a pumpernickel or whatever you call it. She turns around, grabs my wrist, and pulls me through. "Ahhhhh" I scream as I see her face. She's a witch, the boys a mini devil, and the other boy is some sort of zombie. "Ahhhhh" she imitates. "You're coming with us." She says in a high pitched voice." If not we'll send our master out to get you. He'll rip you to shreds. Literally." In a minute we land in a giant, orange pumpernickel. "Eww, who put this pumpkin here?!" The boy yelled. Oh. It's a PUMPKIN. The boy jumps on my back, "Onward." He says. "Barrel..." Shock says. The other one says "Jeez, Shock your not the boss of everyone." She rolls her eyes " Well I am the oldest." She says. "By the way I'm Lock, and single. "He grins. They push me into a large tower and a skeleton grabs my wrists and puts me in a dog cage. A woman Frankenstein comes and sings a song in the window. "Hello?" I ask "Ooh!" She yells "You scared me half to death." She opens the cage. "Come on out but if you run Jack won't be very happy. I'm Sally Jack's wife to be ....for now." She seems nice. "W... Why am I here?" I ask. She half laughs. "Jack has had a history with trying to recreate holidays and he's going to run some experiments." "Wh... What kind of experiments?" I say. "Oh then shouldn't cause that much harm to you.
