Chapter three

Oscar pov
I saw Lucy walking up to me with a dish "here, I got you some food if you're hungry" she smiled "thank you" I said gladly I started to eat while she talked to me about Wendy "when she got me she was so happy, she's the one who named me Lucy her parents didn't really mind what she named me as long as she loved me and cared for me" I nodded my head I was so interested in her stories about Wendy and her that I forgot how my owner badly treated me. So Oscar did your owner name you that or someone else?" She asked interested in my answer "he named me, I don't really know that much but I remember there was a another woman or girl and a little boy his first word was Oscar so maybe they named me that because it was special I will never know where she and the little boy went but I really miss them." I signed I didn't really want to talk about family anymore I had no family I had no one really just Lucy which I am glad for that. "What do you want to do, or talk about now" she asked I shrugged "I don't really know, want to climb or explore?" I asked I really loved exploring I wasn't sure if she did I really hope she does "yeah I love exploring" Lucy said while smiling big "lets have race" she said and ran off in a flash she was gone. "Hey no fair cheater!" I yelled while laughing and running after her she looked back and screamed while smiling "wait up please" I asked she just laughed and ran faster I was getting worried "be carful please" I said while laying down to take a break. She turned and laughed "you're so lazy" she said I rolled my eyes "I'm not lazy, just I'm not use to running so fast" I said while huffing and puffing to catch my breath "oh I'm really use to it because Wendy plays with me all the time and I got to run really fast to keep up with her" Lucy smiled I was glad she loved her family. I got up after I caught my breath "can we please not run again I will get tired again" I signed I felt like a weakling "it's okay Oscar were just kittens someday you will get use to it" she smiled I loved how she was positive, caring, sweet, understanding, and such a great best friend she smiled at me. It started to get dark "I think we should be going home now" Lucy said I nodded we walked back home together "well I had an awesome time" I said Lucy nodded "same, I will see you tomorrow be safe" she said while she ran home I watched her just in case I payed on my steps and feel asleep waiting and hoping tomorrow would come fast I hated staying outside at night.
