My Best Friend

Chapter one

Oscars POV
"I remember being a little kitten and being adopted by a 'perfect' family that was what I thought I wish I never trusted them. I remember one of my owners put me outside I meowed I didn't like being outside, till I saw another tabby cat she was climbing a tree and happily jumped down. She looked at me I felt scared so I tried to hid in a bush but failed she just laughed at me and walked over. "Hi I'm Lucy" she smiled I didn't know what to say but all I did was meow she looked confused "you don't know how to talk yet?" She asked i shook my head no she sighed. "Well I will teach you!" She was so happy I smiled at her and nodded my head for her to teach me I couldn't wait to talk "so the key to talk is just talk to us it's talking, but to humans it's meowing, but if you just meow like you did we cats don't understand. It's confusing I know don't ask why but now try to talk" I nodded "h-hi I'm Oscar" I said shyly. She smiled so big "you did it Oscar you did it!" She cried and hugged me I hugged back and smiled. "So want to be best friends Oscar?" She asked I of course nodded my head my owner called me, same did Lucy's "well bye Oscar" she frowned and ran to her house "bye!" I said my owner was getting mad at me "Oscar hurry up, its cold!" He yelled I ran inside 'it isn't cold' I remember thinking to myself my owner wasn't very nice I was the only pet it was hard there was a little baby girl. I never will know her name since I can't go near her or my owner would yell at me to stay away from her or I would hurt her I would never want to do that but Lucy would say he was lying and being a jerk but I still listened I loved being there since I was close to Lucy my best friend. I remember a stormy night I never knew what I did but my owner got very angry at me he was yelling and chasing me with a broom all I remember was looking at the baby girl I was smiling. When I accidentally knocked something over I woke up the baby, I never ever meant to my owner got very upset with me and chased me out of the house "stay out and come back when your going to act better then a spoiled little brat" he yelled I cried with my meows I wanted back in. I was so cold and soaked with water my fur was dripping I tried to lick it off but being a kitten I was it was tough. I saw Lucy come outside I guess she heard my cried for help she frowned and ran to me while I laid there not wanting to move."
